I bought this in hopes that it would help with my sleep. I do not have anxiety, but I am a very very very light sleeper. I feel that I do not get enough "deep" sleep and was hoping that a weighted blanket would help. I have been using this for over 3 months now and I believe it has helped me sleep deeper. It is the perfect weight for me. I find myself waking up without it on me. I guess during my sleep I remove it off of myself. I do wake-up a bit sore. I am not sure if it is due to the weight of the blanket or just my sleeping positions.I do enjoy the quality of the product. I feel that It is made of very soft material and comes with a "cool" cover during the summer months or if you are generally a hot sleeper. Honestly, I will have to try it out in order to see if it will work for you. My son has always been a restless sleeper. I purchased this weighted blanket for him and he loves it! My older son wants one for Christmas, now! Bonus is that it comes with a slip cover so you can take that off and wash it.

I purchased this after making an impulse buy of a much cheaper one at a local chain retailer. That one got returned. This one is great! The inner blanket's weave keeps the weighted beads together in smaller chambers [than cheaper blankets], so they can't travel as far when the blanket shifts. There are more ties on the inside, which enable the weighted blanket to stay together with the outer blanket more easily. Our family's favorite feature though is the minky material. We purchased these right as fall weather is kicking into gear, and the kids really love cuddling under the minky. It even comes with us on our morning school runs. I attempted the "cool max" option for my kid who sweats a lot, but we all wanted the minky option during the day for cuddling...and we've found that he doesn't sweat under the minky anyway. So I have the cotton (?) material set aside for spring or warmer weather. I plan to purchase one more of these for myself when I am further along in my pregnancy, because I've been advised that it helps relieve Restless Legs Syndrome. Yay!

This is by far the best weighted blanket I have purchased and seen!!! I am so glad I was told about these blankets but this one is the best by far and I’m so lucky I got it as a lightning deal!!! I have my fingers and toes crossed that they do another one because it is so great and I want this exact one for my other son!!! I bought it for my older son who has trouble sleeping at times and he passed out cold with this blanket and as soon as his sister got to the house he went on and on about his new blanket and how awesome it is!!! I have told friends of mine about this blanket and I cannot rave enough. There’s a lot of reasons for purchasing this and I am so excited that this one ended up being so great and even came with an extra duvet!!! The other ones have purchased you have to buy one separately and this one comes with two!!! SCORE!
