Plastic!
These pyxes are made of plastic. They are absolutely unsuitable to carry the Eucharist, at least in the Catholic tradition.

The Pyx is good for 7 hosts that are approximately 1/8 inch thick. The three pack is a great bargain and I am very satisfied with the product.
