Used these as first identification collars for 2 litters of puppies. They held up decently well and being able to adjust the fit as they grew was a big plus!

I started using these at about 4 weeks old. In order to make these 'breakaway' for this age, about 75% of the velcro (Hook) needs to be removed. Leave the collar a bit long since they grow so quickly and check often that they are not too tight! There's one that would not keep the collar on, so he's the one that goes without. Some of the colors are very close. If I had it to do over, I would have skipped orange this time. The beige starts to look a lot like the yellow. And the white gets dirty and starts to look beige. Write descriptions of the animals you put these on so if this happens you can figure it out if you are medicating some of your animals. (or if some of the collars come off during rough play)

I used these collars because I couldn’t tell kittens apart. Worked perfectly. Soft & they didn’t mind them at all.

Velcro degrades to easily.
