GMC0NN'S SOLOFISH FREEN LASER IS MY GO-TO WHEN LOOKING FOR COMPACT PISTOL LASERS!
The SOLOFISH lasers are durable, and easy to install with a little thought. For example - the perfect fit on my ROST MARTIN RM1C 9mm compact is using the screw holes at the rear of the laser, which puts the switches about a sixteenth of an inch in front of my trigger guard, easily reached with my index finger. Some other pistols of mine use the middle hole for the same placement of the switches, and I have never had a need to use the front holes. My SOLOFISH lasers are easily adjustable for both horizontal and vertical adjustments to correspond with my borescope laser and my optics. Green dots tend to washout a bit in bright sunlight, but work great on cloudy days and at sundown into darkness. It holds zero effectively, and puts our a brilliant green dot. Visibility is excellent. If you are looking for a pistol laser (and you are if your reading these reviews) I STRONGLY RECOMMEND the SOLOFISH laser, and this vendor!!

Compact and Clever but with Limitations
Compact and Clever but with Limitations This Solofish SL-1107M green laser sight has a lot going for it right out of the box. The low-profile M-Lok mount makes it easy to add without adding much bulk, and the green laser itself is bright enough to see clearly even in daylight. The magnetic rechargeable design is a smart touch—it’s convenient not having to worry about button cells or fumbling with tiny battery compartments. That said, my experience with it has been mixed. While the housing feels solid and the laser projects a sharp dot, the adjustment screws for windage and elevation are quite touchy. It takes patience to dial it in, and it can drift slightly after a range session. The magnetic charger works well, but it doesn’t always snap on as securely as I’d like, so I double-check the connection before leaving it to charge. The form factor is excellent for keeping a rifle streamlined, but one tradeoff is limited mounting flexibility—it sits best on side rails, and depending on hand placement, activating it can be a bit awkward. Bottom line: A sleek, bright, and convenient green laser sight that’s great for casual use and looks sharp on an M-Lok rail. Be prepared, though, for finicky zeroing and some quirks with the charging system. Solid but not flawless.

very pleased
very happy for the price, it is good quality. wish it had clicks or easier adjustment, just a small turn is a big move, but still doable.

Fits Salt Supply S2
I was not sure because it says not for pistols, but this fit my rather large Salt Supply S2 paintball marker. This is a pistol sized paintball marker, but it has a pic rail under the barrel that is more than 4 inches. This means the farthest back it can be mounted, it is still behind the front of the barrel by about 1/4 inch, and the button can easily be accessed directly in front of the trigger guard. I like that this laser is metal, and has a pic rail on it so you don't lose the ability to attach accessories by attaching this. It does increase the size of the barrel slightly, but it still fit in my canvas molle belt holster. It is actually very low profile, which it achieves by being longer than most pistol lasers. It is bright and visible in daylight for the most part. There are some instances where it can be washed out, but I have been able to see it at reasonable effective distances. The battery life is great. I haven't had it die on me yet, and I often forget to turn it off. I have only had it a day or two, and charged it once when I first got it (it was 90% charged out of the box). I am very pleased with this purchase. My only concern was whether it would fit on the barrel of the S2, and it does very well. It was also easy to sight in considering how large the barrel of the S2 is. The laser is about 1" away from the barrel, so you have to sight it in at the distance you plan to use it. Up close it's unnecessary, and far away its irrelevant because this is a paintball marker pistol so it will have significant drop at long distances. The sweet spot for this marker is about 50 to 60 feet, so that's where I sighted it in. Closer I'll use the iron sights, and farther away I'll use hopes and prayers.

It's typical of the breed
It's good enough for the price but like almost all these cheap lasers the beam has a tiny white sliver and isn't a pure round dot. The hardware and packaging are adequate though. It comes in a little cardboard box with manual, magnetic charge cord and hardware. This unit has a plastic body. I doubt it is sturdy enough to clamp pistol grips or bipods onto, even on a .22. The charging indicator is 3 colors, that blink while charging and show charging status via color with flashing green showing fuller and flashing red showing less charge. Tiny LED indicator on left body of unit. Since housing is plastic 2 cross bolts and a plastic clamping plate are required for attachment on a rail. UNLESS you are using M-Lock slots, which the unit is made for also, with M-Lock hardware included. Holes through the body of the unit allow for a more secure M-Lock interface. Function is momentary on, solid on, or blinky blinky about 300 pulses per minute. 6ish pulses per second. Button is a single rubberized square, easily felt in the dark, at the back of the unit. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT is the quality of the beam. In blue, just like the pistol unit I also bought, the beam is not very clear, slightly oval, with a pronounced white "comma" underneath. More noticable at longer ranges, but oddly enough, not present when viewing the beam through night vision. I get it, it's 28 bucks. Olights are 5x more expensive and 20x the quality. The pistol version has an even more pronounced out of round shape but less of a white comma. If the beam quality were better this would be a 5 star unit.
