Having looked at many of the leading security cameras on the market, I decided that the Arlo Pro 4 was best for me. I particularly like the versatility they give you, you can either use them singularly or pair them with a hub. I chose to pair with a hub, as I've opted for a 4 camera system. The picture quality is very good and the clarity is excellent for my needs. I also like the small form factor, as they can be discreetly positioned, so as not to be too obtrusive. I also chose to pair them with a hub so that I can use a memory stick to store the images, rather than pay an annual subscription for cloud storage. The 4 camera system gives me adequate coverage of my property with hardly any blind spots. Customising of settings again meets my needs. Battery life is a claimed 6 months, only time will tell if this proves to be accurate. Overall I'm very satisfied with this product.

I’m committed to the Arlo camera system; and bought this Arlo Pro 4 2k Camera to fill in a gap in my home. The Arlo Pro 4 has all the same benefits and detractions as other Arlo cameras. overall, I keep improving my system; and I am happy with the overall solution; though I hate the way the cameras batteries recharge - I can't complain that the battery life is months long.Using Arlo as a system has been fantastic primarily thanks to what is probably still the best home Camera surveillance app. It isn’t perfect but includes some great features; and most importantly has been easy to configure from day 1; adding a camera just works; Apple HomeKit just worked, adding rules for when the cameras are activated when I leave the house it all just works as you would expect. (Though on the proximity-based system it’s a shame it doesn't support apples In./ Out of the house feature which has a far smaller geographic circle to trigger it than the default Arlo one.I dinged this camera as the magnetic mounting kit doesn't feel as positive as their screw in thread options on other cameras I have.As you would expect video quality isn’t as good as the 4k cameras it is eminently useable and you can zoom in and still have reasonable quality if you need it. If you don’t need higher zoom or want to watch the feed maybe; the 4k cameras aren’t worth the extra expense. This works well day or night; triggers an alert and has a spotlight that activates on movement and is easy to add into an existing Arlo system.

I installed this device my shed and I've got no issues with the installation, picture quality, motion detection etc. Fantastic device and I'm looking into purchasing the door bell and internal cameras also. It's for peace of mind whilst I'm working or even during the night.Easy to control with the app, battery power seems good. Very happy customer. No issues! Highly recommended.

Bought this camera as an upgrade. It’s useless, battery life is terrible, there’s a regular glitch so the bottom half of recording/ screen is all green, so you can’t see anything. Arlo is continuing on its hidden planned obsolescence, after contacting them to ask could I use it with my smart hub, I was assured I could. Wrong! I was told I could then buy a memory stick to record things, LIES! So I’ve paid hundreds for effectively a dummy camera unless I subscribe to use their cloud services. Which doesn’t sit well with me as they hold my data, yet I’m still a data controller under a data control rules. Arlo used to be great, but avoid this company and go elsewhereI’ve attached the night vision viewing, it literally only catches the wall, nothing else!Update: brought this down to initiate the return. Tried to unscrew the camera from the mount which was problematic, managed to get part of the mount off with the camera. Came inside and this mount was not budging from the camera. Tried everything, pliers, wd40, nothing moved it! It was like it was welded. Contacted Amazon who initiated refund anyway and gave me permission to break the housing to get the mount off. I required the mount to install a different camera and don’t want to be drilling another 3 holes into my wall. Broke housing off to find for some reason or another, it has managed to weld itself to the metal inside the camera. So in essence, the camera has destroyed the mount I paid extra for. I’ll need to put more holes in my wall for a different mount and Arlo has cost me a fortune in useless cameras, accessories and recommendations! This is THE WORST camera and company ever!
