Great quality, great price
The quality of the glass is great, very good low light visibility.A little on the large and heavy side.

Gives Razor UHD a run for its money.
These binos are reasonably priced considering the optic clarity. Definitely recommend.

The best binoculars you never knew about
I’ve owned a plethora of Vortex binoculars and a couple other brands like Eagle Optics and Nikon. I did a lot of research before buying, like hours and hours of research. I found that the Zulu9 11x45mm by Sig Sauer was touted to be one of the best binoculars for the money. How could that be? I thought Vortex usually had that label. I liked the fact that these shared the same AK prisms as Vortex’s Razor UHD binoculars but these were about 50% cheaper. Same glass, less money. When I bought these I took them to Cabela’s where I put them side by side with Swarovski EL 10x50 binoculars. I couldn’t tell a difference in edge to edge clarity nor the resolution. I made the binocular counter guy look through them both, he seemed pretty knowledgeable as well with quality glass. He was the only guy in the whole store allowed to have a key to the optics displays. He couldn’t tell there was a difference in glass quality. The Swarovski’s were $2900.Another day I took these Sig Sauer binoculars to Vortex’s new world head quarters in Barneveld Wisconsin (I live about 25 miles away.) I wanted to put them up against Vortex’s best- the UHD Razors. As I stated before, these share the same prisms. I made one of the Vortex employees there look through the Sigs and then the Vortex Razor UHD 12x50s and I quote the employee who worked for Vortex for 22 years: “these are the same color spectrum, same prisms.”I replied “you know what those Sigs cost? About half what your UHD razors there do.” He helped me solidify my choice that these Sigs are probably the best glass you can buy in the world for the money, along with the Maven B2 binoculars in 11x45mm since they’re practically the same binoculars but in different armor/chassis.These are the best binoculars I will own for the money. They feel great in the hand and the eye cups adjust nicely with many settings for different lengths. The focus knob is big and easy to turn. The fit and finish of these is superb, I didn’t feel like Vortex had anything that held a candle to these. The edge-to-edge clarity and resolution cannot be beaten unless you plan on paying double or more, or if you’re like me you won’t even notice a difference because I don’t professionally critique glass quality. These binoculars are on the bigger side, per my picture of my Vortex Viper HD 10x42 (on the right on the picture). Make sure you look up the dimensions and weight of the Sigs so you don’t get disappointed thinking you were buying pocket binoculars. They’re big, they’re nice to hold, they’re superb.Sig Sauer’s warranty is great too. These have a lifetime guarantee like most American optics companies carry nowadays (I will add that Vortex was the pioneer in the industry with this sort of customer service and warranty). I called Sig to confirm this and the guy I spoke with said if there is ever any issue with the optics whether it’s user-inflicted or manufacturing defects that they will send a shipping label and repair or replace anything with an issue. Can’t beat that! Vortex made the rest of the industry follow suit and I’m sure glad these Sigs are covered for my lifetime.I hope this review helps someone else that’s contemplating buying these.
