I have used the RYO damage care line and decided to try this out. I used it last night and it cleansed my hair soooo well. It felt soft and detangled even with just shampoo. Usually I have super long tangly hair, so thats a plus. Even now that it is dry my hair is shinny and not getting tangled as easily. I think it smells amazing, it has an herbal ginseng jasmine smell, but not in a fake perfume way, like actual herbs way. If you think it smells off, you're just not used to those types of scent profiles as a westerner. I purchased mine from Daily Beauty Official seller, who answered all my questions and is the official seller for Amour Pacific, the parent company to RYO. I am including that just because I think it's important to make sure you get genuine products on Amazon, as there is an issue on Amazon with receiving mock, old or diluted products/items. Sorry Amazon, but it's the truth of the matter. I would also like to add, though I haven't used this product long, I do use the Damage Care version and have been for almost a year and my hair shedding has completely stopped. I only loose a few hairs nowadays. For example, I would have to use a hair catch in my drain or it would get clogged every hair wash, now I forget to even use the hair catch cuz my hair just doesn't fall out apart from a couple hairs. I was legit loosing GLOBS of hair per shower before. It took a couple months of use, but one day I just realized my hairbrush wasn't getting full anymore from one brush, nor my drain from one wash. I definitely think this shampoo will work even better as it's whole purpose is stopping hair fall, compared to the damage care line.

The bottle arrived in perfect condition with the nozzle tightly secured. It is the shampoo I remember from some years ago although the bottle design is updated. The smell is unforgettable - it’s an herbal clean smell that is not too overwhelming. It smells great on anyone’s hair and it just smells clean and natural. My hair feels so clean and flake-free after using it, yet it does not feel stripped. In fact, it looks healthy and it shines. A little goes a long way and it lathers very well. I like using it with a scalp massager. It makes my scalp feel cool I love that this shampoo has the ingredient salicylic acid - which can unclog your pores and encourage hair growth. It not only helps flakes but promotes hair growth. I love this shampoo and have missed it. I have Fine hair, but a lot of it and it does not weigh it down.

I've been using this hair shampoo for 2 weeks now and the hair balls in the shower are getting smaller and smaller. The scent is a little bit strong in the shower but faded quickly after that and left a light pleasant scent almost all day. Highly recommended to try this out if you experienced hair loss.

Compared to normal shampoo, my hair doesn't feel stripped of oil and still has some weight to it after washing. I like the scent, and it makes my scalp feel good. My hair texture seems to be better because it gets rid of maybe 80% instead of 100% of the oil on your head, so it seems less damaging to your hair too. You do not need a lot of product to shampoo your hair either!

Not marketed as a dandruff shampoo, but it sure worked for that issue.
