Exactly What I Needed
I was tired of constantly replacing six batteries just to use it, and this solved that problem completely. Plugged it in and it worked right away—such a simple fix that makes the label maker so much easier to use!

Terrible product. Can't even power the label maker on by itself?!
I own a brother PT-2600. This machine uses 8 AA's so its a huge hassle to keep it running on battery power. This adapter was said to be compatible with it. And it is. However, it will NOT power on the device under its own functioning. UNLESS the batteries power up the machine FIRST, then plug the adapter into it after the device is on. I kept wondering why the labeler wouldn't power up plugged in. Came to read the reviews here and come to find another person with the exact same issue. How do you even manage to build a power adapter that can't even activate itself? Always read the one star's reviews too folks. Might save yourself some trouble.

Saves Batteries. Worth the Modest Expense!
Works great for my Brother P-Touch label maker. My P-Touch did NOT come with the AC adapter so I have been using batteries. Even though I don't use the labeler that much, it really does burn through batteries. The T-Power AC adapter is reasonably priced, works well and saves having to use (waste) batteries.

Pretty good, but a little loose
This adapter works pretty well for my Brother PT1010 label maker, but the fit is a tad bit sloppy. Several times, I have pulled the adapter out and one small piece is left behind. All you have to do is remove that little piece and put it back on the adapter, but it is a little annoying. I also don't really like the blue laser light that is emitted from the part that plugs into the electrical socket. Don't look at it or you'll damage your retinas! The other downside is that when you use an adapter (as opposed to batteries), you lose your settings on the label maker. For example, I always set the margins to "Narrow" to save tape, but when you rely solely on the adapter, you don't retain those settings. It's not that big of a deal, just need to be aware of it. The bottom line is that while this adapter may not be 100% perfect, it is WAY better than using tons of batteries. Definitely worth getting!

Works perfectly for brother xl 60 AD 8000 adapter compatible
Fits and works perfectly for my brother xl 60 ptouch. Compatible with the AD8000 adapter requirement. Great price! Ordered a different one from a different company two months ago and still never received. Found this one, received in two days and it was prime available no delivery charge.

Is it really necessary to jump-start a DC converter???
I do not recommend purchasing this charger. Using a volt meter, the output is 9.5 Volts DC as advertised. I have a Brother PT-2300. When trying to use the DC converter without batteries, the unit would not turn on. I installed the batteries, plugged in the DC converter, removed the batteries, and THEN the label maker stayed on using the DC converter. The label maker will turn itself off after a few minutes when not in use, but will not turn back on with the DC converter unless I reinstall the batteries. In my opinion, this is a ridiculous process to follow when the whole point of the DC converter is to do away with the need for batteries.

Works great for led strip light
I use this in the slot machine and arcade game marquee lights I build. If I use 12v ,the leds are just too bright but with this power adapter the lights are a bit dimmer and not washing out anything.

Will work for a bubba blade fillet knife battery if you switch the polarity
Will plug into a battery for a bubba blade fillet knife. But in order to get it to charge you have to cut the wires and swap them to reverse the polarity. Totally worth it for the money.
