Solved our water pressure problem
The water pressure was getting very low in our RV and I never would have thought it was our city water inlet. The check valve had become dismantled somehow allowing it to become cockeyed and impede water flow. This would cause the water to go down to a trickle. After replacing our old inlet with this product the pressure is better than ever. This has three holes for mounting, one more than my original had. The plastic part appears to be made well. As you can see by the picture the threads are male. Keep in mind that you also may need to buy a extension piece if your wall is too thick and your present city inlet is female threaded, like ours was. Being that our old inlet was female threaded I had to run to the hardware store and grab a 1/2' female to male coupler piece. If it hadn't been for that the job would have taken 10 minutes. Take a peek before you get started so you'll know what you need.

Awesome little product.
It stopped my leak. it took me like 3-5 minutes to install. the only bad part is that the lid to close it doesn't easily screw in to close the bib. So you have to take your time to close it or the water supply will be exposed. arrrrrr.

Works but with a weakness
The plastic hand knob pressed onto the barss threaded part will soon start to slip and make it hard to tighten the hose fitting. It helps to spray some oil behind the brass part and on the hose thread.

Product is an exact replacement for original on my Motorhome
The water fill fitting was an exact fit replacement for the original. However, if connecting to plastic pipe and fitting in your RV a unique washer is required but not included with the shipment. I used the old one from the original water fill fitting and it worked fine.

Works great - easy to install. Much better than original.
Replaced the original plastic valve that was leaking all the water out of the tanks with this brass Bad Boy. Was surprisingly easy to replace - just a couple of minutes. Works great so far! Why the original manufacturer felt they needed to save a buck or two and put in a lousy plastic one is beyond me.

Best Product To Replace Your Old Plastic OEM Connection.
After just a couple of years, my cheap plastic city connection started leaking. I tried tightening the connection but it simply split and cracked the stem. I ordered this brass version which was an exact fit to the old mounting holes. I mated a brass connector from the water line to the brass stem in this part and cranked down tight. Great seal, no leaks, not fragile like the old one.. very pleased!
