I mounted mine a little lower because it doesn't have any type of upper support bracket. I had to use my license plate mount to support it to bumper or it would literally vibrate up and down like a spring. Definitely more for looks and brush guard than push bar. If it had some type of upper support it would be 5 star. Looks pretty badass though.

This bull bar came in in good condition aside from a microscopic amount of rust on the very bottom, but It was easily covered with rust converter. After mounting on the truck, it's pretty solid! However this bar is more for looks than to hit something so... you probably shouldn't hit anything on purpose.

It’s looks great, and is well designed. Has a nice semigloss finish. However The mounting leaves room for improvement . Even after tightening all the bolts and brackets very snuggly , you could grab a hold of the bar and move it up or down an inch. So being a welder like I am, I used some 1 1/2 in square steel tubing to make reinforcement bars. I made two, both 10 inches long. Mounted them at angle from the predrilled light mounting holes to underneath the bumper. I used the same bolt That I used to mount the lights and reinforcement bars to. Then used a grade 8 bolt and washer to mount to the bumper. And now you can’t even wiggle the bar! It’s solid. Other than that the mounting is easy and took about an hour, then maybe another 1 1/2 hours on fabrication of my supports. All good!
