Works very well. I like the intercom feature.

Had to call Panasonic to get info to try n fix my phone. Every time you made a call you just got a dial tone after you dialed. They really didn't know how to fix it so I had to call my cable company who then walked me through some issues n finally worked. A lot of trouble for a phone.

This replaced an older Panasonic and works as well as the old one with one exception. Periodically several times a day it notifies me of a voicemail message from my phone provider. I don't use my providers voicemail service and it has been turned off at the provider level. The voicemail options on the phone have all been turned of but the notifications persist. Panasonic customer service has been of no use. It's not that big of a deal but is annoying to pickup the phone and have to clear the notification. Panasonic customer service needs to provide a website that has more than frequently asked questions.

Just got it but a great phone so far. If you want to screen your calls, this is a great phone to do it with. Phones that mention " answering system" are probably the playback type but on this model, you can actually hear the message as they are speaking. My family gets a lot of telemarketing calls and this is a great way to ignore them. You have the retrieving later option, but it is much easier to hear them live. The sound quality is great. The keypad lights up as a call comes in and when you make a call. It also comes with a second phone on a rechargeable base so it is more convenient if another family member wants to answer it from another room. It seems harder to find a phone with an answering machine in the base today but if you want to screen your calls from what I think of as pesky people this is the one I would highly recommend. Panasonic has been around a long time for good reason and we trust this brand. Again, only my opioion, but I hope it helps.

Worked well for a couple of months. However, now it cuts out after a few moments for most calls. The caller cannot hear anything. It's a shame, defective product, but too late to return.

You will need to keep the manual nearby to access all the features. Other than that it’s a decent phone.
