The Perfect Sieve
The best sieve ever. It is very fine mesh and is a large sieve. Just right for removing small pips when making jam and big enough to get the job done quickly.

Too big for domestic kitchen
My previous strainer worked well but the handle broke off so I wanted something with rivets. I couldn't find many on the market so bought this. The quality is excellent and very sturdy but in my opinion could be one or two centimetres less in diameter. After all, I wanted a sifter not a colander.

Brilliant quality sieve
I bought this as it has very sturdy, riveted handles - it was to replace one where the handle solder had failed. I am delighted with this one - the quality is outstanding and it's a big sieve, so it's a handy alternative to a colander for draining rice or small pasta or grains.

Large, sturdy, well put-together sieve, but important part of finish has been neglected
The bowl part of this sieve is 22.5cm (9 inches) wide. This may be too large for some people. 20cm (8 inches) is more normal, so check your requirements. The mesh is fine and the rivets fixing the handle and wide hook to the bowl mean it's robust. So you can rinse ingredients as fine as quinoa, without it passing through, and tap them out into your pan without damaging the sieve. However, the handle, including its hanging-hole, and the wide hook opposite have some sharp-ish edges which could dig into your fingers and hand. It's such a pity that this aspect of finish has been neglected, as in all other respects it is well finished. As as a result, I can't recommend this sieve and will be returning it.
