I have a brutal skin disease and I used this over the dressing to make it waterproof. I work in a hospital so have to be careful with bodily fluids splashing me and these saved me. I was also able to go swimming but was just relaxing in the water and it stayed put and sealed. Just test it before going into water. I was so glad to find these and recommended them to everyone. They take a bit of getting used to when learning how to use them. The rolls come in different lengths and widths so there was no problem finding the size I needed. I had no problems removing from skin but be gentle.

AS LONG AS YOU HAVE 1 & 1/2 OR 2 INCHES OF THIS AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR WOUND - WHICH BY THE WAY YOU CAN KEEP YOUR BANDAGE ON UNDER IT (I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT ACTUALLY) IT STAYS DRY. THIS JUST GOES OVER EVERYTHING AND SEALS IT UP.IT STILL LETS AIR THRU TO KEEP YOUR WOUND HEALTHY BUT IT DOESN'T LET THE WATER THRU.THAT SAID - ONLY WORKS FOR SHOWERS AND NOT-NOT-NOT BATHS.I HAVE AN ALLERGY TO ADHESIVES AND REACT TO BANDAIDS AND MEDICAL TAPE BUT THIS I DON'T REACT TO, SO I OFTEN USE THIS TO HOLD ON GAUSE PADS INSTEAD OF TAPE

I bought this because I needed to cover an open draining wound on my shoulder. I was use to using tape but it would always make my dressing fall. With this I was able to shower and have no water get onto my bandages. Overall great product and I would definitely buy again.

I found this to be fairly easy to apply as long as you take your time. Helps keep scrapes/cuts clean and covered. And very waterproof!Easy to remove if you just grab one corner/edge and slowly pull it down - the adhesive will release as you pull, similar to the 3M removable strips for Command Hooks.

I used this after hip replacement to cover bandage to make it possible to shower. It worked well. Easy to cut to size needed.It has two part backings so make sure you follow directions

Arrived in a zip loc bag. No way to know what "germs" are on these items that are intended to be for wound care/infection prevention. Item is nonrefundable and non returnable.

Product does not stick well, once applied starts to peel and air gets in with no problem, not water resistant and I doubt it's sanitary, waste of moneyIMPORTANT UPDATE: NOT ONLY DOES IT NOT WORK IM NOW DEVELOPING A MAJOR RASH AROUND MY ARM, I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE USING THIS!! Use 2nd skin, it worked great until I attempted using this instead 👎

For after wound care, this product rocks. I used it for post-surgery wound care for my hip replacement. This is the ticket for having something that covers an 8" incision. Love this product!!!!
