Ello Elsie Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Stopper

Over all, this is a thoughtfully designed and durable product, one which I enjoy using. The glass body keeps water tasting good, and virtually eliminates the potential for chemical seepage into the water (there is plastic in the cap, but it doesn't concern me much). The silicone seal is very tight and feels as if it will hold up well against use. 22 ounce capacity is, in my opinion, the perfect size. It feels high quality and is aesthetically pleasing. There is one small con to this product: if you wear lipstick or lipgloss and drink from this bottle, the makeup will transfer from the rim of the glass and get trapped in the cap when you re-cap the bottle. This can be somewhat annoying to clean out. I anticipate that if you were to use the bottle for things like teas or juices, the cap could get a little nasty in the silicone seal. Over all this is a really nice product, nice enough that after I got mine, my boyfriend decided to buy his own. :)

This is the 3rd one I have purchased. They fit perfectly on the door of my RV's refrigerator. They travel very well, and the attached caps don't get lost and seal tight, so no leaks if they happen to fall over. It's great that the caps come in different colors when using them for different liquids. i.e. milk vs. cream. I also have found the wide mouth makes them very easy to clean.

I can't say how much I love these. I have about 4 of them. I take a couple full of water to work everyday. They DO NOT leak. Someone reported mold? I've used them for years and they are spotless. I have never ever seen any mold. I put them in the dishwasher after each use and they stay squeaky clean. They are just fabulous!! My go to healthy option water botle.

I have been looking for a quality glass water bottle for a while to use at my desk at work,but did not want to spend too much money on one. Especially since I wasn't planning to carry it around to various places, being leakproof was not a particular concern. The glass bottle is thick and sturdy. The cap is rubber and creates a seal with the entire mouth of the bottle (have not tested whether it can withstand being inverted without leakage). It is perfect for my purposes. The only downside is that I personally would have preferred a screw cap/lid or one with a smaller opening (like the LifeFactory ones). However, it provides good quality for a much lower price.

Theres just something about drinking out of glass! It sounds silly but I’ve drank so much more water since getting these glass bottles. They’re very sturdy and durable. Best of all, leak proof and dishwasher safe! ONLY con is, I wish it was bigger. I have to refill much more often.

I use this to take water to work and the gym. I’ve used this same brand and type for over 7 years. The one I had I broke due to dumb human error. The only possible problem you will find is after years of opening and closing, the rubber lid will get a bit looser and if you happen to turn it on its side, it may leak a tiny bit. But this is over many years of use! I still gave 5 stars for leakproof because my newer one doesn’t leak at all. Don’t let that be a reason to not purchase this product. Also, the instructions say to not put hot water in it, probably due to scalding possibilities, but I have a hot/cold water cooler, and I mix them so I’m drinking warm water at work and it’s never been a problem! I have 3 different colored ones and if there were more color choices, I would buy more because the price is so low for the lengthy use you get out of them and I love all the colors.

I use these bottles to store my homemade almond milk. They are leakproof and strudy. I like their size, perfect for my usage. And they are easy to clean.

I actually love this water bottle. I’ve seen reviews on other Ellis water bottles festering with mold on the inside of the cap but that has not happened to me with this model because the inside cap is made of hard plastic. It’s 22 oz. so I’m not constantly having to refill it. I think it’s pretty much perfect. The only thing I can think of that is at all an issue is the mouth is very wide so if you’re drinking and you tilt the bottle a little too far up you may get a splash of water on your face, but this is cancelled out for me because of the fact that I can put normal size ice cubes in it, so it is less of a hassle.
