Yes. All you have to do is change the claps that secure the trap to other position. It works the same

Yes it can. Be sure to have it in there for a few days to get them used to it first. It's a tricky project.

Q: How do you operate this trap

First you have to assemble the trap. Adjust the hanging bracket to either a rimless or eurobraced to suspend the trap. Lift the trap door and insert the trigger. Place fish food inside the feeding tube. Now wait for the fish to come inside for the fish food. Plug the string that is attached to the trigger and the trap door will fall trapping the unwanted fish inside.

Q: Can I use this product in a bow front?

The one I purchased could be hung on the edge of the tank or stuck to the side of the tank with suction cups...(or both I suppose.) I used the suction cups...while my tank is not bowed, I'm guessing the bow is not severe enough and this would probably stick. The hanging option might work, as you tighten with finger screws, and again, the bow may be OK. Either way, I'm referring to rimless edge....If there's a lip or frame etc, then I have no idea.
