Glacial Acid has a very strong and pungent odour, I advise to work with it in protective clothing and a well - ventilated area. As for my experience with Glacial Acid, I acquired it as a remedy for mice in my house.I am glad it worked and there are no more mice in my home.

Great product... is what it says it is and for those ordering a gallon and they receive quarts there's a reason for it. When certain chemicals are sent out in gallon form (this one definitely qualifys) they must charge a special fee for transport which isn't exactly cheap but they get around that by shipping quarts to honestly save you $. Because you know another tax by our government since the tax on the purchase price isn't enough...

Add only a small amount to water and you have a serious cleaning product.

Pleased with this purchase. The quart-size bottle of glacial acetic acid arrived well packaged. It was appropriately sealed and labelled. The product inside appears to be what it was supposed to be based on the smell, color, apparent density, viscosity, and approximately pH. (However, we have not actually conducted analytic chemistry tests on it to confirm its identity or purity.)

Diluted, this stuff makes 3 gallons of 33% vinegar, which is an excellent natural herbicide.And at 8 tablespoons per gallon of H2O, you'll have white vinegar for life!

I received my gallon of glacial acetic acid in four separate quarts. While 4 quarts is equivalent to 1 gallon, it is not the product I purchased. This is a bit annoying because I don’t have the space for 4 separate quart containers in my chemical storage area. It would have been nice if DIYChemicals reached out to ask if the change would be ok, but alas, they did not. 2 stars for poor communication and not anticipating their customers needs.
