I have nosy neighbors so I installed it on my bedroom windows.Looks great during the day.At night unfortunately with the light coming from inside the room it doest work but great during the day to get the sunlight in and have privacy

This is easy to apply and has good hear reducing properties. If you just want minor tint and aren't going super dark, I highly recommend.

Installation Update: After several days of trying (and failing), I got someone to help me and we found a video with better instructions. The bubbles have to be worked out over and over again. The edges have to be trimmed slightly away from edge to be able to keep bubbles from reforming. The film is still hazy, distorting the view, but the video I watched (from another company) says it can take up to 30 days for a clear view. Will just have to wait and see.1st Impression:I made sure to follow instructions exactly. I even looked up how much (and what kind of) detergent to add to water, since it wasn't included in instructions. I was very careful and thorough to do the job right. It continues to form bubbles and the view is very blurred. After seeing the images of the finished product that are shown on Amazon, the real thing is a huge disappointment.

I bought this film hoping to get some privacy and heat control for my bedroom window, but I was disappointed with the product. The film does not stick sufficiently to the glass, even after following the instructions carefully. It peels off easily and leaves bubbles and wrinkles on the surface.However, I was able to install them on my small bathroom and laundry room windows even though it was a tedious process of constantly rewetting the surface and being careful not to scratch my windows with my utility knife. At least, it works for small windows.

Bought this a cost-effective way to reduce heat transmission in the house. Right off the bar, this is not adhesive window tint, so its not semi-permament. This is a vinyl sheet of tint, so if it needs to come off, it can be removed easily. I found it easy to install, just measured the dimensions i needed, added 1/16th of an inch, and xut with a straightedge and razor. Liberally applied soapy water to a clean window, peeled off the back, and squeegeed (if thats even a word) it onto the window. Trimmed the edges to fit, dried the edges off, and that was it. I like it, no so far. If you need a cheap(er) way to help reduce heat transmission, this is it.

Moved into our new house and my home office window sits eye level with my next-door neighbors very large yard that comes almost right up to my window therefore when they are out with their dog's id look up and be face to face with one of the family members. I needed something to be discreet and nice and this did both. it was extremely easy to install did not damage anything and all i see is a shaded window however what they see is a reflective mirror but only during the day come nighttime and it is a regular window all over again. I like this stuff and would buy it for any other areas that i might want daytime privacy. If you are looking for something to give you privacy day and night look elsewhere.

I live on a corner lot with lots of neighborhood people walking by. I like that I can sit in my sunroom and look out and not have everyone who walks by being able to look in. I put the privacy film on the lower half of the window because it does distort the view slightly. Also, I have a lot of plants and need some light to come in so I didn't want to completely block the windows with curtains.

Prep your windows properly and this stuff goes on easy peasy, the tiny water bubbles that don’t get squeegeed out right away do go away, it provides excellent privacy during the day, none at night obviously you would have to be pretty stupid to think that it would. I would purchase this stuff again absolutely.

I disliked that you can see through the tint in daylight and it is clear in night time like there is no tint on it.Was easy to adhere. Would be good for keeping the hot sunlight out.

Très satisfaite. J'ai acheté l'argent/noir. Idéal pour chambre, effet un peu sombre. Réduit considérablement la chaleur. Effet miroir super élégant. Doit être 2 pour l'installation, mais Très facile à installer.

This film has tiny-tiny waves, that does not make a clear view through the installed film.
