Gold leaf glue.
This glue is very good I use it for my painting with gold leaf. Dry’s fast and stays sticky tha way it’s supposed too. Function is very good. Easy to use.

Works good but varnish is ehh
The gilding adhesive is good. I put in a little water, put down a thin layer, waited about a half hour and applied the gold leaf. There was plenty to finish the table. I used about half the jar. The varnish though does dull the gold quite a bit. You can see the difference in the Pic. Left side is varnished, right side is not. I don't mind because I do want a protective layer and this is my kitchen table, but if it was for something fancy I would look for a different protectant. Also, get better brushes. The ones that came with the set are ok, but didn't work for this large surface.

New to this
I am new to using the “foil” & painting. I really like that it comes with the bushes & that you get both the glue & the top coat to keep the gold flakes from tarnishing. Due to my schedule, I have not the chance to actually use this but I will soon & hopefully come back & update my review. The price is great also

The glue stayed very beautiful with foil
The media could not be loaded. I made this jewelry box for my sister. It was a trial and error type of thing. Definitely make sure your glue is little dry before applying your foil so it doesn’t get on top of the foil gives you a white residue. But over all I re did it again and came of very beautiful I recommend. Package was handled amazing ! And quick shipping.

A little thick
I'm gilding some small pieces and it seems that it's rather thick. I've diluted it with water but have noticed that the glue is now swelling the wood pieces that I'm working on (no worries). One thing about it, it stays tacky for a long time. Missed gilding a piece but discovered it 2 weeks later and it remained sticky!

Very sticky stuff!
Dries clear and beautifully. Super sticky. Had trouble getting all the foil to adhere but that is always and probably user error. Have ordered several times and will again!
