Simple die with many possibilities....
Have to experiment more with this one. I do like it very much. I scored ribs onto the fan at equal intervals to look as though it could be folded...and I rather liked that look. So many embellishment possibilities.. Just need the time to fiddle with it. Happy I purchased it!

Misleading But Not All Bad..
While I love the Sizzix dies, I do agree that the description they gave for the die leaves out the fact that it is only ONE die and that you do NOT get the decorative piece you see in front of the fan. That being said, what IS in FRONT OF THE DIE on the pic is a simple white circle doily that has been cut in a pie slice or V-shape.. easy peasy. So, cut out the fan in the paper of your choice and place a doily that requires two straight cuts to make a gorgeous vintage overlay. For $9 it is not a bad purchase....If you do not want to purchase the die, then cut a spellbinder nestability scallop circle (your choice of size) and, again, cut a pie slice out of both the die cut circle and the doily of your choice. Sizzix should have made it clear to customers...

disappointed
I am very disappointed that this fan does not have the ornate lace overlay - nor, it seems, is there another die with the overlay. awhere can one buy thyat particular piece of lace? What good is the fan without the overlay? I feel that this is misrepresentation!

I was really disappointed when I received this item to find that it was a very plain looking fan. I wish I had not misplaced the paperwork as I would have returned it however I ran out of time to return.

Bild ist irreführend
Das Bild von diesem Produkt ist sehr irreführend.Bei dem Stanzer handelt es sich lediglich um das hinterste Fächerelement ohne Muster.Davon war ich etwas enttäuscht. Es wäre schön wenn dann auch genau das abgebildet wäre was man bekommt.
