Basic timer/switched fused spur
I am using this to connect and control a small heater in an airing cupboard. It’s very basic (you set it to be on for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 hours by pressing the button on the front of the switch and it switches off after the number of hours selected have elapsed). No WiFi, you don’t need a smartphone or an app and, thank goodness, it doesn’t have Artificial Intelligence. You can’t even access it remotely but - who cares - it’s easy to install, easy to use, it isn’t expensive and it works!

Relatively easy to install, really simple to use
Great switch means we don’t forget to turn the washing machine off now. Quite easy to fit – a little bit of wrestling with the wiring in the tight box, but nothing too difficult.

Helpful energy saver
Replaced the standard switch with this timer option. Decided a programmable version wasn't worth the extra cost. It was easy to install and does what I wanted.Setting it for 2 hrs after shower is enough to dry 2 towels on the radiator. The only complaint is how bright the indicator lights are! The switch is in our bedroom so have put 2 bits of insulation tape over them.

Works well
Bought for our daughters bathroom towel rail. Ideal to set selected time span.

Small earth terminal.
Great unit but the terminals are not sufficient if you have a unit on the end of a spur. Too many wires means the terminals, especially the earth terminal is NOT big enough. Shame. Sent back.

Simple install - just as needed
Bought this to allow an electric radiator to be run off a timer, rather than possibly being left on all day. Wiring itself is straightforward and build quality is decent. Exactly as needed and looks smart too.
