I also like this product because it's reasonably priced compared to the others. It also has a nice lemon flavor. Other brands have a "tropical fruit" flavor that is downright nauseating. Also, if you wear glasses the markings on the side of the tube may be difficult to read. All in all, however, this is a good product, reasonably priced, and effective.

Very happy with product

My ferrets like it
I bought this for my ferrets because they occasionally have a blood sugar crash and this has been great to have handy. Just a pea sized amount and they feel better in a few minutes. Much easier to carry around with me than a jar of honey too. They like the taste so that's always a plus.

Works great, costs a ridiculous fortune
My husband is a Type 1 diabetic. For a single bad insulin reaction, it's easy to suck down $10-20 worth of this stuff. So I bought dextrose powder (dextrose=glucose). He mixes it with water. It makes for a much cheaper alternative and works very quickly. This is not medical advice - talk to your doctor or nutritionist. But of course you can't take the powder with you. Glutose works very well. Just so sad that the medical industry takes advantage of the American public at every turn and charges a fortune for this. It's criminal.

Raises blood sugar, but a little slower than I would like. Hard to gauge how much you are actually getting and hard to squeeze.
