Works as advertised, medium level charging but this thing gets hot. I typically keep it on my marble counter top vs bed or sofa due to heat output. Overall satisfied.

I bought this charger to use with a new iPhone 15 Pro Max. I had originally planned to buy the Apple OEM charger to guarantee fast charging but given the big price difference I decided to try this product first. I’m absolutely glad I did!I did have one hiccup when I first tried charging with this charger… basically my phone would charge to 100% and then every ten seconds or so it would act like the charger was removed and reconnected. Since the charger didn’t come with a power adapter I bought an Anker 511 30W charger to pair with it. For whatever reason the Anker charger and the ESR charging pad just didn’t work well together. I switched to a Nekteck 65W GaN adapter that I had available and I haven’t had a single issue charging since.I have read some reviews about the charger getting too hot but so far I haven’t had that issue. The pad can get warm if it is working at full power to charge the phone but not at a temperature that I would find an issue with.The magnet strength is exceptionally good. I have a Torras case that also has extra magnets and between the two the connection is super strong. The kickstand is a pretty great feature as well especially with the new night stand mode that the iPhone will go into if it is sitting sideways while charging.I’d definitely suggest anyone with a newer iPhone model that supports MagSafe charging give this product a try. I know I’m glad it did!

First impression, it looks nice. It is significantly smaller than what I have been using (Samsung's official charging pad), and the metal kickstand seems stable and durable.For my Samsung Galaxy S20 (with magnetic case), this charger works well as a kickstand, but delivers inefficient power. Due to its compact size, it heats up quickly while charges the phone slowly in standard charging rate. The phone surprisingly picks up the fast charging mode when enabled in the phone setting, but I can imagine the heat issue becoming worse.For my Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 (non magsafe charging case), it always stops charging after a few minutes regardless of how I reposition the charger. It only adds 2-3% during my overnight charging. In other words, it never fully charges the Buds 2 to 100%.I liked the idea and the versatility, but it does not work out for Samsung devices. I would keep it if it at least properly charged my both daily devices.[update: from 3 stars to 5 stars] ESR team reached out regarding my review and sent a free replacement product (their wireless charger with a built in fan). Although that one is significantly bigger than any wireless charger I have used, I no longer have problem fully charging my Samsung devices due to overheating. Another difference between this product and the replacement is that the replacement uses the barrel type port for input instead of USB-C. I prefer the replacement product over this since I do not mind the fan noise, which returns a much better charging temperature . Overall, I am highly satisfied with the experience with ESR.

Relieved this today, after ordering yesterday. Paired with my new ESR magnetic case for my Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra, I'm amazed how strong the magnetic bond is. Full 15W wireless charging; this absolutely beats plugging a cord into your phone... unless you really need faster charging. Kickstand is super strong, definitely a great purchase!

Update to my review, December 13, 2023; After writing a review of the wireless charger I was surprised when the company contacted me to inquire about the problems I had with the charger getting very hot and making my phone very hot. They offered a full refund! I was very surprised and very pleased that they actually stand behind their products. This a company that cares about their reputation and the satisfaction of their clients.They also offered to send me the new version. I received them in the mail and the first tests show that they work well, charging the phone without getting overheated. They do get warm like others I have tried but not hot like the first version I had.Good product, Great company!December 2, 2023; I purchased these in June when I was very busy so I opened the packaged and tried it out for a few minutes to confirm that they worked. They stick to the phone very well and started charging immediately so I put them away for later when I had time. In November I now had time to set up our home office so I took them out. I found that once again the magnets latch onto the phone very well and the phone starts charging immediately. After about 15 or 20 minutes I checked to see the state of charge and that is when I noticed that the phone and charging pad had gotten very hot. The next time I tried it the same thing happened and this time the phone got so hot that it stopped charging. The message on the phone said that it paused charging until the phone had cooled.I hope that this charger has not damaged the battery in my phone!No I do not recommend buying this charger!
