Strong and well made, anti slip feet and upper surface
StrongTek Squatting Toilet StoolTo be perfectly honest, I had never heard of this type of stool until I spotted the Amazon listing. As this looked to be a good handy size stool, I felt it may be useful for reaching our bathroom cupboard. Or for our little girl to reach the sink taps, along with it's intended use.At first glance the £39.99 price tag may appear to be a little pricey, but believe me this is very good value for money. As soon as I removed this from the box it's high quality was apparent. The stool comes complete and ready to use, there is no assembly required. The body of the stool is made from high grade hard wood, it is in fact plywood which gives it even more strength than if real wooden boards were used. The outside of the plywood has a nice laminate finish that gives the appearance of real wood. The best thing about this is it's superior build quality, along with attention to detail. The stool has a circular cut-out so that it will fit around the WC making it easier for an elderly or disabled person to use. It has 4 anti-slip feet screwed onto the base, preventing the stool from moving whilst in use. It also has a textured rubber upper surface so your feet remain in place even if the surface were to become wet.Personally I'm not at the stage where I will use this for the toilet, but I'm sure for those that may find this useful it will do an admirable job. This will certainly be of use as a general stool for us in our bathroom. It's strength is it's strength, this will not buckle or tip over if being used by someone who is not so steady on their feet.If you have a need for this then I would highly recommend it!Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

supposedly good for bowel health!
We first read about this toilet stools that minic the squatting position without having to well "go in a hole in the ground" about 10 years ago and were interested in their health benefits but never made a purchase. This was an ideal opportunity to test them out.We are not doctors or medically trained and we cant provide any meaningful quantitative analysis on these. Instead we are going to focus on the following:☑ Well made - well constructed. No sharp edges or defects☑ No slip surface - dont want to sprain anything by slipping☑ Fits both of our toilets and suspect it does fit universally but dont have any odd-shaped toilet bowls to confirm this.☑ can be pushed back more flush to the toilet to avoid too much space taken up when not in use.☑ It is a little awkward when you first use this. its not uncomfortable but you do have to have a basic level of flexibility to use.If this is in yuor price range we think that this is worth a try. It is supposed to be beneficial for bowel health because of how it aligns the bowel etc.
