I have had my Seiko 100 for a little over three years now, and it is amazing! an alarm one can actually hear during heart-pounding workouts!As a Correctional Officer, I even used it for break intervals for the inmates, and it was loud enough to hear over their ruckus... LOCK DOWN!However, just yesterday the backlight stopped working, and a twinge of anxiety swept over me! Although I felt sad, I started looking for a replacement as I periodically pressed the light button in the hope it would come back on, and just as I was about to purchase another, the damn light came on! , and has been working ever since (what caused that?). Anyway, I'm happy again!

I like it. Nice bright light for night time use. I use the dual countdown timer to set intervals for running or workouts. Alarm sounds with a countdown alert for each interval end time. Alarm sound can be cut short by pushing right button without stopping countdown (ie you don't have to listen to the whole 5 second alarm if you wish). The lap timer can run at the same time as the interval timer without interruption as I play with the interval timer. Take the strap off and it fits nicely in the hand while running. I find this easier to use than a wristwatch. I'm using this timer to coach my son during workouts together. He seems to like the fixed intervals and alarms. It lets us run and exercise together without any interruption. When the alarm sounds, you go...
