Identical to the Bram*** brand but 8 bucks cheaper
The first time I used this mold (last fall), I didn't like it.I was used to using the thin silicone mold that comes in the wooden box, and with this one, I felt the soap was hard to get out. I gave it another chance last week when I started my hot process soaping for the season, and now I give it 5 stars on all qualities. Why? Inexperience. If you want to compare removing the finished loaf from this mold as opposed to the thin silicone mold in the wooden box— yes, it is a little more difficult, but that's only because you can't peel the mold away from the loaf (you know that thin mold is eventually gonna tear). You just need to loosen the mold from the loaf on all4 sides, turn it upside down, and press on the bottom of the mold. The soap loaf right drops right out, and it looks beautiful. I have 2 of them and I get 12 bars from each loaf using a wire loaf cutter.

Lovely tall Narrow bars
This produces excellent tall narrow bars. I have chabged away from using a regular mold to only tall ones. Love the way they sit in your hand. Structure held up nicely to temperature as I do add hiney to my bars.

Bows in the middle
Gave for stars because of it bows in the middle if using for soap

I love this mold!
I’m very happy I purchased this mold for my soap making! I love the convenience of it, I don’t have to line wooden molds! I have used it several times so far and have had no issue with soap sticking or anything. I do allow the soap to cure a couple days before removing from this mold. Can’t beat the price either.

I like it.
Good product, just wish wood box or some sort of outside support was included. Hoping a longer box comes out soon.

Worked well
Worked out very well. Other buyers did mention the mold bows out a bit when filled, it does. I made a simple wood frame to put the mold in when filling. Overall nice mold and works well

Sturdy but has several problems
I bought 2 of these to make cold process oven process soaps. The product itself is built sturdy which is good. However, when it came time to pour the center bulged out, as shown. That part was easily remedied by propping the edges to straighten while soap hardened. The tough part was getting the soap to come out after 24 hrs. I pulled all 4 sides apart from the mold and I knew there was issue right away, as the soap stuck to the sides. I decided to wait another day. So after 2 days I finally got soap out but as you can see from the pictures there’s soap stuck to the bottom. The recipe I used is tested and true so I know it’s not the soap. I’ll try making another batch and see how it goes but until then, I’m only giving these molds 1 star because I now have extra work to fix all the bars after cutting them.
