A Natural Deodorant That Actually Works
I have tried many brands of natural deodorants over the last 2 years and nothing has worked. Lume, Toms, Native, Dr. Teals, Schmidt's, etc... They either smelled bad, did not stop the sweat, or broke me out in a rash accompanied by itching. The one that semi-worked still produced a lot of sweat. I am a stay-at-home mom and work from home at a desk, the amount of sweating was ridiculous and I felt like the actual deodorant was causing it at times. I enede up with seat stains, sweat rings on my blouses, and constantly wet and needing to change shirts. At first I attributed this to detoxing, but after a year I knew it wasn't that anymore. I switched to Hume to give them a try, and while their scents aren't as strong as I'd like, I actually DO NOT SWEAT and I smell good. The rest of my family decided to gice this a try and they loved it as well. I have a pretty picky teen daughter and she actually prefers this brand, my teenage son says it actually works to keep him from sweating and smelling throughout his day, and I have a pre-teen who just started using deodorant and nothing was working on her, not even the conventional brands. She tried Hume and it's the one that works on her. She no longer has to reapply and she feels better about herself in sports and dance. The whole family is using Hume now and we love it. No rashes, no breakouts, no sweating, and no smelling, and most importantly no aluminum or harmful ingredients. It's perfect.

My favorite deodorant
I'm in my 40's looking for a healthier deodorant. I also got ot for my girls, because its important for me to protect their breast since many other brands have very bad quimical in them and our body absorbs everything we put on. I do not sweat a lot, I don't smell bad, but I still like to use it. My daughter's sweat more and they like the feel and smell. The smell is very light and delicious, it's easy to put on and doesn't stain out clothes, it makes us feel more comfortable, they last about 2 or 3 months, the size is great and easy to carry when travel. I highly recommended if you are looking for something healthier with no bad quimicals. The price was comfortable. They do have different odors for you to choose. In the picture you will se on the left a brand new one and on the right the one I have being using for almost 2 months.

Works well but causes redness
This natural deodorant works really well and smells great, but it does cause redness in my underarms. I don't have particularly sensitive skin but I have had underarm redness and burning with some other baking soda-based natural deodorants. I was hoping I wouldn't react to this one because there's no baking soda, but the redness is there. It doesn't hurt, there's no burning or pain, just redness. I have no redness when I use Dove 0% but I was hoping to find a more natural deodorant. Because there's no pain and I bought a 2 pack, I have been using them and have been happy with how they hold up through workouts and last all day, but I won't buy again. I'll keep searching for a natural deodorant that doesn't cause redness.

First ingredient toxic
As with most similar situations; propylene glycol is "safe" if you use it intermittently and don't have any other issues with your kidneys. My issue with this is not only are there people especially sensitive to this; but for normal people this means you will likely accumulate it in your body overtime. Since your armpits are one of the more sensitive parts of your skin, as well as using this daily. (I use natural deodorant at least twice a day if not 4+ times when it's especially hot/ working out more etc). "Reported adverse effects from PG include central nervous system (CNS) toxicity, hyperosmolarity, hemolysis, cardiac arrhythmia, seizures, agitation, and lactic acidosis." - ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (National Library of Medicine/ National Center for Biotechnology Information). Of course you wouldn't necessarily have any ill effects if you don't use yours regularly. But it still is unnecessarily adding work for your kidneys that other decent (and yes, natural) deodorant doesn't do. I was interested in a new brand and scent than what I usually use but reverting back to that! I find companies like Hume to be disgusting. I don't know if they are simply lazy or genuinely willing to add harmful chemicals to save a buck. Unfortunately many people blindly trust companies that say certain chemicals don't adversely affect their health beyond reason; and they get away with it due to the affects being long-term and not immediately noticeable. (AKA; *sneaky*). Even if you only suffer lesser symptoms such as an increase in migraines, nausea, etc. and you "don't know why" it could be from remaining ignorant to these things. I prefer an eyes-open responsible approach myself. Part of that is not contributing to these kinds of companies. The choice is yours.

I like
Thank you. I really like this deodorant. A friend recommended it to me, and I’ve been using it for about a year now. By the way, one tube lasts a long time. It has a pleasant scent. I really like it.

By far the best natural deo
This is the absolute best natural deodorant I've ever used! Will help keep you dry for a little while too unlike all the others but this is deodorant only not sold as an antiperspirant. So that's just a plus. The scents are amazing! The cactus blossom and out west scents are my favorite. This lasts longer than any natural deo I've ever used. It will last all day unless its unbearably hot and you spend all day outside like me. I'll sometimes have to reapply in the late afternoon during those nasty hot days. Otherwise I'll put on once during the winter, spring and fall and twice in the summer (night and morning) - sometimes a third time on the super hot days. I've tried so many of the other natural ones and barely get a few hours...which I can get away with after being freshly showered anyway. Also none of the other brands have scents I like and especially the lume yuck! Those all smell disgusting. There isn't one Hume scent I don't like. I almost gave up on natural deo until I found this one. I do still on occasion (summer only) use the regular old drug store antiperspirant bc I live in ohio and well if you know you know. Oppressive heat + HIGH humidity = super bo

Very fragrant- kinda harsh
This works very well as keeping me from smelling bad but it does have a stronger fragrance (which I was trying to avoid) and it also seemed to make my armpits break out some; even burn slightly. So I have to use it sparingly and go back and forth between it and another, milder brand I found, depending on my sweat needs.
