I tried this zester immediately after it was delivered, first on a block of cheddar cheese, used the brush that came with it to clear away the cheese particles, then used it again to zest a lemon for a muffin recipe. I finally bought myself a zester that I have wanted for a long time. I used other gadgets but I wasn't getting what I wanted.Since I've never used one like this, I am finding practice makes perfect. The blades are quite sharp and it took a little time to use it with ease as in the beginning the lemon kept catching.I'm a rookie with some new toys. It does remove quite a good amount of zest which I was pleased with. It is a good product. I like that after I am done that it comes with a cleaning brush and a sheath which adds protection when in the drawer because as I said it is rather sharp.

Love it, makes zesting a breeze. Comes with a cover which is great to keep the blades protected as well as your fingers when not in use.

This type of zester works considerably better than the type that looks like a fine cheese grater with small points on it. The point type gets clogged every few strokes. This one doesn't have that problem and it is easier to clean.
