Q: will this work with my 2015 Forest River Rpod 179 Travel Trailer?

If you have a 30 amp plug this will work to plug in to a 110 outlet. You will be able to run one a/c and will be limited on turning on a lot of items. It will handle my 13000 btu a/c and frig at the same time. Hope this helps.

I'm electrician. It lets you plug into a 15 amp receptacle and plug in a 30 amp cord into it. The lower value is what I go by and it's wattage is 1800, a 14 gauge, good for not more than 15 Amps. The device plugging in into the female side should not be rated at more than 1800 watts or 15 ampere. Just an observation from the values given about the device. To be ositively safe, buy UL aproved or similar certified electric devices.

Your dryer is probably 220 volt. The dogbone is for 110 volt.
