Right This Very Minute: A Table-to-Farm Book About Food and Farming

A key book yo be used in a farm unit I am developing

This book does a good job showing young ones just how MUCH work it takes to produce and transport the food they enjoy!

A wonderful book about the food system - easily showing children how our food is grown, produced, harvested, transported, packaged and arrives to us. Most families have such a disconnect with this process, and this book is a great way to show children what happens behind the scenes and the effort and energy it takes to bring us our food! It's really a beautiful book! We had so many great discussions with it!

A rare look at where the food on our dinner table comes from before it arrives in our refrigerator and pantry. We see how much work is involved in the growing and harvesting of fruit and vegetables and grains, as well as the devoted care of the cows that provide us with milk, cheese and butter. And let's not forget maple syrup and honey! And even meat! You'll never take food for granted again and neither will your little one once you've shared this tantalizing picture book with them!

This book is great for any age but I used it in my preK class when we did our grocery store unit!

I teach kids to garden and how plants feed us--this is a great addition to my library!

A perfect book for the young people to know that food doesn't just appear at the grocery store. There is a lot that goes into growing and processing our food before it reaches the table. Thank you to the author for writing an informative and fun to read book!

Love this for my first graders! A little lengthy, but full of information!
