Haier HD90-A2979 Freestanding Heat Pump Tumble Dryer, 9kg Load, White [Energy Class A++]

I decided to give it a go, was not sure although it was a good and well known brand.I would suggest to choose the installation option in the "service options", I did not see the one fits me, so I chose standard, but it turned out the guys who delivered would not install it for me. (A total shock!) they just unpacked and removed the simple package (it did not come in the full box but plastic wrap and some pieces of protection). one of the guy was nice, he advised me to contact Amazon customer service and buy separate service, or I could order to return then re-order.However, having contacted Amazon Customer Service, they did not have sufficient installation services. I had looked everywhere online and in the borough, not many options as Haier is not majorly within the service scope. So I decided to call Haier customer service to see if they could guide me or perhaps they have such services.The lady at Haier customer service was very kind, who advised me that if I follow the steps on manual, I could also install it myself as she had done herself, she said "if I could do it, everyone could do it too, so not to worry, it is not hard", I was happy, just worried if I would do something wrong. So having read manual repeatedly and went through youtube Haier videos, made it! I was quite proud of myself that it worked.Having used it quite a few times in the first week, the washing noise level surprised me. It was quiet especially when it was spinning at the last stage. Previously living in house sharing, the washing machine shook quite bad and made noise when spinning. But this one is quiet.Definitely recommended to purchase, however, it would be ideal to have 5 years warranty to be honest. Currently I think it is only 2 years.

I have had this washing machine for over a month now as a replacement for a 9 month old Hotpoint which lost its ability to be remotely/wirelessly controlled or monitored. After the experience with the Hotpoint which was noisy and bumped (even though levelled) and had lose bolts at the front of the drum (it still bumped after it's warranty repair), the Haier has restored my faith that eco washing machines do not need to be compromised. Most of the time it simply 'murmurs' in the background and is very tolerant of loads imbalances. The range of remote controls is also significantly ahead of the Hotpoint and is less flakey at staying connected. The front panel controls are less cryptic and it also auto despenses detergent and conditioner quantities as it seems needed during a wash, sending a remote message when the detergent drawers are running low. Overall an A plus to Haier.

Fits easily, spin cycle is variable and basic but useful programmes.Nothing so far to dislike.

I bought this washing machine just over a month ago and have only used it a handful of times with a mixed load with dye snatchers (as I live on my own and the drum size is huge compared to my old machine). This machine is almost silent compared to my old one and so much more energy efficient-shown by the figures on my energy monitor. I didn't think I had switched it on properly the first time I used it as it is so quiet but it gives a slight click when the door is locked. You are also advised to use a coin to clean out the pump once a month (which I haven't done yet, so can't comment on how easy this is to do). The machine itself is easy to operate using a dial and I like that the digital display shows you the temperature of the program and how long it's got to run for. It is also easy to dry out the wide rubber seals of the drum and door (which is got tinted glass so you can't see the washing)A big downside is the manual-it refers to lots of different models and functions and it is really poorly laid out and confusing to follow. I still haven't figured out what all the machine does and how the steam function works but I think I will get there eventually given time.Overall it is a great value machine.

It was quite noisy at the beginning, but after a few uses the noise level has gone down a lot and it is quieter now. I love it.

When washing cloths its very loud during the spin cycle. When empty its quiet during spin cycle. I have open and closed door 6 times in 12 seconds and ran the spin cycle with the machine empty (Tec-support advise) to reset the machine. I have levelled it, I have tried every type of anti vibration product on the market; rubber pad(s), rubber feet, under worktop air bag. Yet, with an average load i.e.. 1 pair of jeans, 4 T-shirts, and 2 shirts it make a very loud and fast clicking/knocking sound during the spin cycle. The sound is coming from either the control knob or just behind it. There is another reviewer on here with a video demonstrating the noise. I believe it is a defect with some individual machines but not all, and I was unlucky.I have read the crap about uneven loads etc. The noise happens every time I use it. Also, I am using this machine no different to how I used my last washing machine. which lasted 14 years and was as quite as a mouse.

This machine was recommended to us by our son and it lives up to expectations. It is so quiet when on a full spin and I love the fact you can mix the spin cycle with any wash.
