Oh the possibilities! Okay, so I bought this to make "overnight oats". Made them, hated them, found whole grains instead and soon I had jars flying out of my fridge at my husband's feet. Many angry and painful expletives later, I decided I should corral my jars away from attacking him, and so I found this.What you see is a thin transparent clear 'drawer' to house up to 5 Mason or Kerr like jars. This is untrue. What you get is thick, glasslike plastic that's really substantial and has heft to it. It does fit in my fridge, but it also fits in my pantry - I'm in debate as to which I should place it in, as the size is exactly perfect for both. I use 5 jars at a time, one for each grain - barley, quinoa, wheat berries, brown rice, and buckwheat. I cook each and spoon into jars while hot and close, then pop into the fridge. They seal tight, and keep a very long time this way. I have placed these hot jars into the bin in question (room temp bin) and no cracks.I will likely buy more over time, as I would love to have them for the jars I store my pantry grains and baking supplies in. The jars are cheap and sanitary as well as airtight and this lovely bin keeps them off of my floor, my husband's feet, and my nerves. It's a win-win situation. Besides which, they look really nice, as the bins are round edged and very upscale looking. I have seen similar at Bed Bath and Beyond, and none are this nice for the money spent. I am very happy, and would recommend these any day.

The canning jars fit perfectly as shown. I was looking for a solution to clean jars clanking in storage. Clear sturdy plastic. Fit in my drawers and slide in and out perfectly in the cabinet. I am pleased with this product. Delivery was prompt

I have ordered MDesign products before and they have ALL had "lines" on the bottom. The ones which I just ordered did not have that and they don't seem as hefty. I am hoping that they can handle some weight without breaking.

Perfect for fridge storage or for holding several mason jars (I fit five) but it also worked perfectly for a countertop herb garden!

It does what it says but if your wide mouth is decorative the container isn't wide enough to accommodate due to the taper towards the bottom.
