Reliable and High-Quality Audio Adapter
The Anker USB C to 3.5mm Audio Adapter is a fantastic solution for connecting my traditional headphones to newer devices without headphone jacks. The nylon braided cable feels durable and tangle-free, which is a big plus for daily use. The adapter is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around without adding bulk. Audio quality is excellent, with clear, crisp sound and no noticeable loss or interference. The plug fits snugly into the USB-C port and holds firmly without wobbling. It works perfectly with various smartphones, tablets, and laptops, making it a versatile accessory. Overall, this adapter is well-made, reliable, and delivers great performance at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Excellent adapter for wired headphones - Great Build and Audio Quality
Flying from London to Asia, a long haul flight of around 10+ hours, I purchased the Anker USB-C to 3.5mm audio adapter specifically to use with my Bose wired headphones, which don’t have Bluetooth functionality. My phone, Samsung Z Fold 3, does not have an audio jack, so I needed an adapter like this. This adapter has worked perfectly from day one. The build quality is impressive, the cable is thick, flexible, and feels durable. The connector fits snugly into both the USB-C port and the headphone jack, with no looseness or signal drop. It’s also compact enough to carry around easily without tangling. In terms of performance, I did not have any issues with the audio quality, it is excellent. I did not experience any distortion, lag, or interruption, and the sound is clear and full-bodied. I’ve used it for music and Netflix, and it consistently delivers a stable connection and high-quality output. This adapter is ideal for anyone using modern devices without a headphone jack, especially if you still prefer or rely on high-quality wired headphones.

Does everything it claims to and is of far better quality than I would have expected for the price.
I bought this adapter because my new Lenovo Tab 11 tablet does not have a headphone socket and I want to be able to use wired headphones. The Lenovo tablet has Dolby Atmos and the output to the headphones is after the Atmos effects are applied, which is very useful. The sound has a lot of clarity and without any effects applied is quite a flat response. This suits me for classical music and jazz, but you might want to use a graphic equaliser or Atmos (if you have either) to shape the sound a bit more to your taste. The first headphones I tried with it were old Sennheiser EH350's. These are y normal headphones for casual listening. The sound level in the headphones took about 60% of the device volume. This was greater than the earphone "safety setting" so I had to click agree to go beyond that. Obviously, it is not unsafe because this is the safety level set for in-ear earphones. The Anker adapter contains a digital to analogue converter and an amplifier which are hidden inside the USB-C plug so I wondered if it might be able to drive my Sennheiser HD600 headphones. I have never used these with a mobile device and with a CD player, they require a dedicated headphone amplifier. I didn't think it would work, but the volume at 70% was sufficient to drive them with a very lifelike sound. Listening to Spotify on maximum quality and comparing to the same recording on CD via a high end (Graham Slee) headphone amp, the phone plus Anker adapter is about 60% of the quality. Half of that difference will be down to the source material not being as good as CD. If you are listening to older material that was not digitally recorded the difference is far less noticeable. Clearly, this is a very tough test and you can't expect something that costs £15 to be as good as something that costs hundreds of pounds, but it does a decent job given the price difference. I have also tried the adapter on a Google Pixel 5 phone with the same results as the tablet. I can not vouch for the long term reliability of the adapter. Anything with a cable going into plugs is going to be prone to breakage of the wires after a while. In conclusion, this adapter does everything it claims to and is of far better quality than I would have expected for the price.

Nice quality and easy to use
This is the second USB-C to 3.5mm converter I have tried (the other was a different brand) and I'm happy with this one as it allows me to use my wired earphones still. The construction feels strong and sturdy and it's snappy when plugging in. The audio quality is clear and with no interference. Highly reccomend it. Sometimes the audio will "pop," mostly when using Samsung Music, but with 'Dolby Atmos' enabled it stops popping in between songs or if the audio gets too quiet (which were both problems I couldn't fix with the last adapter I tried). If there hasn't been any sound for a while it will quietly pop when "turning off and on again" but it seems to be mostly a problem with the phone and at least it doesn't interrupt my music anymore.

Replaces the audio socket
Perfect lead/adapter to replace the 3.5mm audio socket. Nice to have to choice of auxiliary speakers to connect rather than Bluetooth.

Works well, no major issues.
Solid connection to my iPhone and great quality again from ANKER, the only slight niggle is that the volume control on my Bose IE2 in ear headphones doesn’t work, apart from that it’s all good.

Mine has a fault
When in use with audio, the device works really well. Without audio playing, i get what sounds like interference. not sure whether this is a common issue or whether my particular adapter is faulty. Had the problem since day 1. Device this adapter is used with is an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
