2nd attempt at leaving a review as Ama-Zon keeps removing. Bought this as a upper "roof" for my pizza stove. Worked better than I expected, would absolutely do this again. Thick steel, heavy duty handles! It can take the heat and will last longer than I will!

I purchased this griddle to expand my kettle grill's capability. The griddle was flat upon on arrival and I have not experienced any rocking or flatness issues. It is very substantial and robust. The griddle nearly fills my 22 inch kettle cooking area, with only a 1/4 inch gap around the circumference. The handles are a great feature to facilitate rotation or removal. Heat management is a learned skill, but it heats uniformly while maintaining cooking heat. When the griddle arrived it did have some light surface scratches and residual manufacturing dirt, but no rust. No big deal. It's an entry level griddle made from sheet metal sheet and not a high end restraunt piece of equipment. I quickly honed the cooking surface with a glass pumice block to soften scratches and give a matte appearance; necessary, no but it was my preference. I included a photo on the initial cook and the appearance after a little use. I would recommend this griddle if you like to cook outdoors. It will not fit in a standard size oven. It is a great addition to a kettle grill or an ugly drum smoker (UDS). Lavalock makes good products and my experience with their customer service has been excellent.

It's a fantastic concept. However, I wish it could sit up higher and avoid the sides of the grill. Despite being sunk down It's a fun new addition!

Love this thing. Easy to use, easy to clean, durable, even heat. I use mine on a Weber charcoal kettle grill and it's perfect for smashburgers, sauteed onions, eggs, bacon, and everything else I've thrown at it so far! The handles are a little strange, but they work fine and don't really get in the way as much as I thought they would.

Couldn't be more dissapointed.....for over $100 (that's with tax included) here are a couple things I didn't like about it. 1. Unlevel ground at all=grease runs off sides and down into kettle since there are no sides. 2. The grease tray slides are a good idea but most the time there is no grease because it's already ran off the edge and also, when u lift the griddle plate up its hard to handle that and trying to not spill what has collected in the grease pans or just moving them out of the way to sit the whole thing down somewhere is a pain in the.... 3. Just put the$100 I just saved you towards a blackstone and be done with it.
