This product lives up to claims
I don’t usually submit reviews but I was shocked by how effective this product is. The week prior to use, I set up a new tank and added a substrate that is great for aquatic plants but was widely reputed to be dusty/cause cloudiness. Even after a week, I could not see the back wall of my 75 gal aquarium. Yesterday I tired of waiting so I added the final 64 oz of this substrate, and the water returned to pea soup cloudiness.Also yesterday, I received this order of Aqueon Water Clarifier from Amazon and added it to my tank per instructions. This morning, this tank is crystal clear (!!!!) I just had my water tested a few minutes ago and there was no change in PH or Cycle status. Wish I’d known about this product when I initially added this dusty substrate!

It didn't work
The media could not be loaded. We got these for the "in between" time where the water in our fish tank looks cloudy and we are waiting for our guy that cleans the tank. It did nothing. The water did not clear up so we needed to schedule a cleaning earlier than we normally do.

Not good for big fat dirty fishies
I was really hopeful this would help clear up my 50 gallon tank because water changes are such a chore and so is cleaning out the filter I have... so I bought this to buy me a little time between water changes. I had to use nearly half a bottle over the course of 3 days to get it just 30% less cloudy. Didn't work well for me but I have 5 big feeder goldfish who are constantly pooping.

Like this product but too expensive now.
