ActivOn Medical Grade 100 percent Manuka Honey Gel Tube Natural Healing of Wounds,1 Ounce (Pack of 1)

This is my go to for healing difficult wounds! I have purchased this several times and always been happy with the results. Only thing I wish was different is the cap on the tube. It is not threaded and will pop off or fall off. It will not stay on well and I have to tape it when I store it. Otherwise, product is excellent!

I purchased this to help heal a post surgical wound that developed along an incision. I received a small amount of Medihoney brand from my surgeon -- I was unable to purchase Medihoney brand anywhere as there is a national shortage. To confirm this Activon Medical product from the UK was indeed authentic (since purchased from a 3rd party on Amazon), I e-mailed Activon. They responded quickly saying "We do not sale or advocate the sale of our Activon Tube on Amazon, so would be unable to confirm the authenticity of your tube. However, we do sell this product in large quantities to wholesales, who in turn will have customers who will then sale online. I can confirm that we do manufacture a 20g and a 25g tube and that we are currently going through a re-branding of our packaging. The packaging in your photo is our current packaging but will soon change to that shown on the website." Their response made me feel much better to proceed to use this product on such a critical area.

Seems to work good on wounds.

The honey was great, but I docked one star because the cap won’t stay on. I cover the cap with scotch tape after I use the honey each time to ensure the cap is less likely to pop off accidentally. The cap needs to actually screw on with a threaded cap.

I purchased this for someone else who is diabetic and has an incision site that's not healing very quick. The Dr recommended medihoney, so I got this for her. She said it is sticky, but it doesn't hurt anymore since she started using this, so I'm considering that a positive!

Since I survived major infection with it, I will ALWAYS BE a HUGE fan of medical grade manuka honey. With all the bacteria strains, bacitracin just doesn't cut it anymore. I definitely recommend ActivOn for topical use, to help prevent infection from getting so bad it causes an amputation.

It helps heal open sores & since it is honey, it will be a little sticky so once applied you will need to cover it (like with a bandage)

The lid is extremely difficult to place on tube after using. I would not buy this product again.

Noticeable brightening and shine to my teeth.

Like all honey products, overtime it crystallizes. Using the medical honey in a crystallized state is unpleasant to apply and makes it hard to come out of the tube. I sealed the lid after opening and put the tube in a glass of hot water (not boiling but very hot), with the lid just above the waterline so it didn’t get into the tube. I let it sit for about ten minutes then refilled with hot water again, and the honey was super smooth after! No more crystals. :) Happy healing!

Works incredibly well! - Helps regenerate skin tissue very quickly and the results are much better than expected.

Excellent product, but terrible packaging. The twist off cap becomes the lid and it doesn’t stay on. Better packaging needed.
