Beautiful piece of art, but...
This is a beautiful piece! I love it and it exudes quality and exceptional craftsmanship. However....I have no experience in owning a Shofar, so was a little disappointed that it did not come with any literature with information about the piece’s creation or how to use and care for it. I blew with all my might and with no open end for the air to move through the horn, there was no sound. The metal encasement seems solidly affixed and I was not sure if it is meant to be removed. This is where a bit of information would have been very helpful and appreciated.
