Awesome
Brilliant bike! Very well built, extremely light weight and very well designed and constructed. My son is only 2 1/2 and he loves his bike. This has taken him from awkwardly walking around with a bike between his legs to now scooting his legs along and placing his feet on the little wings when he goes down hills. The bike has been on pump tracks, Forrest roads, root filled tracks and also the beach. It handles them all in its stride. The bike could appear expensive compared to others, but I have not seen this quality in a toddler bike before. Certainly for a child who wants to ride and an adult that wants their child to develop at a pace to get them out on the trails asap! Couldn’t recommend highly enough and we have recommended to numerous friends already. They are available second hand which would reduce the cost and if I did it again I would be happy to buy second hand as they are so robust I’m sure all those available will still have plenty of life left in them.

Top of the Class
This bike is a market leader and it is clear why. Easy to set up. Looks phenomenal - we purchased the yellow one and we’re glad we did. Works brilliantly, very intuitive. Didn’t take long for our 2 year old to pick it up. Had it maybe a year now and he can now zip around at ridiculous speeds with total confidence. We take him to pump tracks on this and it’s a great family day out. Barely 3 years old and we’ll be buying him a proper bike without stabilisers very soon because of the balance he has learnt with this. Really great idea. Word of advice though - DON’T go from this to a bike without stabilisers. That will defeat the purpose of a balance bike. Go straight to a conventional bike.

Brilliant
Best money I’ve ever spent. Bought for my son for 2nd birthday. He’s big for his age and recently 5 and still uses it as his stunt bike. He learned to ride a pedal bike at 3 and had no problem to which I thank this balance bike. Highly recommend. It’s light also so ok to carry as a parent. You won’t regret it

Exceptional quality toddler bike
I was directed to this brand of balance bike for toddler grandson. The quality all round is exceptional. Very sturdy and robust. Its taken bumps and knocks that come with a lively toddler and escaped without damage to parts or paintwork. It was more expensive than other similar size bikes, however, this bike is in a league of it's own. It will last for years. Even when outgrown it would still be a perfect condition for a sibling hand down bike without any guilt. Grandson loves this bike, it's well used and it all looks as good in all aspects as the day it was purchased.

Beautifully made balance bike
Got this for my grandsons 3rd birthday, I am impressed with how well it's made and how light it is. The bike arrived two days after I ordered it so I am impressed with that too. There is minimal assembly, just pump up the tyres and tighten a couple og allen bolts and it's ready.

Looks cool.. feels cool. Ten out of ten!
Wow! This is a seriously cool bike. Straightforward to assemble for instant bike ability... very easy and lightweight to manoeuvre, even on bumpy ground. My daughter had a wooden bike which was heavy and uncomfortable. This balance bike is a total game changer... and it comes in pink. What more could you want??!!

Amazingly lightweight - simple and effective!
Full disclosure - this is not our first balance bike :) We have tried loads over the years - my two eldest have had the Isla bikes Rothan, chillafish bunzi and bmxie, scuttlebugs, and numerous other models and types of balance bike to play with from friends and neighbours - they were all moderately successful; However, number 3 child has been so wonderful these last few months that he deserved something for himself and seeing the early review of the Hornet Airo, we figured it would be something to try out. Well, I have to say it’s been a huge hit both with ourselves and the boy - not only is it super light so that he can man-handle it about, he literally felt so confident on it that he is almost as fast as our eldest on her mountain bike after only 2 weeks of sporadic use!! First impressions when it turned up - not a great deal to do - simply turn the handlebars and tighten. Inflate the tyres if you think necessary and set the seat level. Enough for them to rest their whole foot on the floor with a slightly bent knee. That’s it - add helmet to child and off we go!! The bike itself has a huge range on the seat level - I would suggest he could probably have had it a bit earlier, say from about 18 months - although the weight and size could have meant it would have been only suitable for downhill for a time? Anyway - he absolutely loves it and he has had so much success that he has inspired #2 to learn his pedals so that he is ahead of #3! Great peer pressure applied and now they’re all off whizzing about. Even though it is incredibly lightweight it has already put up with a huge amount of punishment on the winter roads - and to be fair it had held up reasonably well. The grips haven’t broken or damaged despite being thrown about; the seat the same. I am slightly disappointed by the poor resilience of the powder coat finish - which is the only reason it hasn’t got 5* from me. They have thought about almost every aspect, except it seems there is little to protect the powder coat on the ‘footrest’ part of the frame below the seat - this is the widest part and hits the ground first, so I would like to have seen more effort to protect the frame at this point either side; it already looks worn in and heavily scuffed which isn’t ideal. Overall though I know he doesn’t care - he is off and running/rolling and I can see many happy days as we transition to pedals in no time 👍🏼 I would certainly recommend the Hornet Airo to anyone considering an early stages balance bike with a large seat range that is light enough for the child to handle themselves and when they fall off!
