This made my room smell like farts. I had it running for a few hours in my bedroom and it smelled. I removed it to smell the filter directly and it smells like sulfur. Like satan farted directly into my air purifier.

I have tested this with the Ecowitt air quality monitor and these Flintar filters does clean the air.Update 11/7 I will be paying more for the original because after only 13 days, my air quality was moderate the whole day on 11/7. I know it was the filter because after I swapped it out with the brand new one ( the order came in a pack of 2), my air quality monitor dropped back down to "Good" . The Levoit filter that came with the air purifier lasted 6 months! You get what you pay for. Flintar sucks.

First of all, the boxed Flintar filters were delivered in a Amazon delivery box, yet the filter box inside the Amazon box is crushed. Not sure if the Amazon is to blame for sending/packing a crushed item. Anyway, the filters inside was not damaged too much. I flattened out the filter and able it install fine.Now the filters. Comparing the Flintar filter with the Levoit's OEM filter, it is pretty clear why these (Flintar) are cheaper. Compared to the OEM filter, the Flintar's filter definitely has lessor carbon materials. Also, the pre-filter on Flintar brand is thinner and not as dense as OEM.I purchased Flintar because OEM was out of stock and it's rating a good. However, for the purchase price I paid,($29.99), I will try another cheaper priced brand.

I shopped around amazon for filter products for my 4 levoit air purifiers. We have one in every room. My doughter has a bad allergy from pollen and dust. She couldn’t live without an hepa air purifier. The genuine filter replacement seemed to work well as a levoit filter. It was easy to put on the machine and a good price too. It came with 2 filters so you could use it for a year for a very affordable price. I am glad find this product on amazon. Amazin truly have everything I want. :)
