Great product

This jamon stand exceeded my expectations and has been fantastic so far. It is very sturdy, well made and looks great too; makes for a great presentation of a nice jamon. It holds the meat in place very well and I have had zero issues carving up perfect, thin slices. I also like the fact that it is adjustable for different sizes and shapes of legs/shoulders. It is backed by great customer support and I highly recommend it if you are in the marked for a stand.

Simple, sturdy, stylish. This is a perfect solution for mounting and cutting a whole jamon or prosciutto. Reasonably priced. Folds for easy storage. My only complaint is that since it is in full view and easily accessible in my kitchen, it makes it too easy to resist taking a little slice every time I walk by. ;)

So a few months ago, my wife decided to surprise me with a whole prosciutto leg as she saw the local Lidl offered a leg & stand combo for what is still considered a ridiculous price. The leg is delicious however the stand was truly lacking. For starters, the included screws stripped as soon as I gave it a turn with the hex wrench included, and after using a more quality screw, when we attempted to secure the ham to the stand (screwing the bolt into the leg), the wood split. I barely gave it pressure. So I have this delicious leg that needs to be eaten but no stand to hold it... insert this device. It was a tad more expensive when compared to some the other ham stands but what made me choose this one was the collapsible arm. It makes for storing the stand super easy. The only modification I did was adding a Velcro scrap to keep the arm from moving when not in use. I also think it would be wise to have some sort of bumper incase you miss handle the stand and the arm comes crashing down onto the beautiful wood. No matter how careful you claim to be, mistakes happen. Even with the additional cost for us to buy this stand, the entire price for the leg is still very much unbeatable and we will be on the lookout when Lidl offers the legs again. I am in the market for a knife. The Lidl package also included a knife, and while it is sharp enough for me to do my carvings/servers, the handle around the tang is wiggling. This company offers multiple knifes and seeing that I am impressed with the stand, it would make sense to "keep it in the family" Part of the beauty of having a ham leg like this is the presentation. While the leg itself is a site to see, this stand just adds the extra layer of style for your guests.

The product is very sturdy and the construction uses material that is of very good quality. The jamon leg is held very well and permits a very easy access to the jamon for slicing. The price is very competitive and the value thus is excellent!

It is a good quality, however, it came with a small indentation in the wood due to packaging and shipping. I provided feed back directly to the seller but they did not respond.

No complaints. Can rotate the ham as you want, to expose different sides (although not automatically, you must reposition the ham and re-screw the screw at the top). Metal parts are well chromed and sufficiently heavy. Has a fairly large footprint because the ham is held semi-horizontally. I bought this one because it seemed very adjustable--and it is. I intended to use it for a USA-produced aged Country Ham (no hoof at the end), and it worked well for that.

It may not be obvious from the pictures, but this ham stand is of much higher quality than the stands that come bundled with hams. The base is weighty, which makes the stand much more stable. The metal spikes are sharp and actually hold the ham. Worthwhile investment if you buy a ham once in a while.
