Sacla' Italian Vegan Fiery Chilli Pesto, Dairy, Gluten & Wheat Free, 190 g, (Pack of 1)

This isn't easy to find in the shops, and it has a nice strong flavour, unlike many pestos out there. We got it for a great price and it means there's a quick and easy pasta meal ready in 15mins after work.

I am pleased to have found a vegetarian pesto and one that is nut free too! My son has a very serious nut allergy so it's not always easy finding nut free pesto. It tastes better than I expected it to also. I do use two jars at a time for a family of 6 and mix some of the pasta water with it too. Would recommend and have bought again.

I mistakenly bought 6 of these when I only needed 1. Having said that, this is a flavourful tomato pesto. I use it to make Spaghetti, cheese pasta, as I like that from time to time. You could use it for whatever you want, as Pesto is versatile. Would recommend.

I discovered chilli. Or rather my ability to eat Chilli again. It's not as hot as Harissa. Very mild and fruit with a kick. I was never a ketchup person however, this has become my Ketchup, Harissa condiment. It is tomatoey enough, but not a tomato sauce. It has a good consistency to be used as a dip, or as a dressing. I sometimes thin it down with Yogurt or Oatgurt. Since, I discovered this product, I no longer buy the herb/ Basil pesto. I make it at home when possible. And it's vegan.This arrived in time in good condition and good date stamp on in.

Delicious- but so spicy. This would be better as a seasoning for roasted veg or in lasagne sauce than just plain on pasta. Delicious- but hot hot hot!
