Best of: VANITY FARE

Having grown up musically in the 60s and 70s, it was a no-brainer buying the "Best of Vanity Fare" through Amazon.com (considering one cannot buy such gems in the typical music store). I have always loved "Hitching a Ride" and after hearing "Early in the Morning" on Sirius Radio, I just had to get it as it is defintely one of the nicest songs you are likely to hear both musically and lyrically. Trevor Brice, the lead singer's soft and melodious voice is perfect for that song and, indeed, all the great songs on the CD. In fact, I wasn't aware that VF sang some of the cover tunes on the CD! Bonus!All in all, one of the best (and cheapest to buy)CDs in a long time, as it continues to charm us the more we play it. Thank you, Amazon.com!

i bought the CD for hitchin a ride and early in the morning but i was surprised that actually the whole CD was pretty good.

GREAT COLLECTION OF HITS FROM THIS POP GROUP. VERY NICE SONGS WITH THIS 60'S AND 70'S FLAVOR THAT MAKE YOU TRAVEL BACK IN TIME.

Great music to listen to. I did receive the CD. What I've heard is from the radio and Youtube.

This was a song from my daughter's childhood. I got it to prove that I remembered it. We both had a big smile.

Very good stereo and superb sound reproduction, contains both A & B sides of singles. All are original recordings. A couple of tunes have been done by other artists, but Vanity Fare do them just as good. Would highly recommend. This cover is the actual CD version. The other write-up I did was the MP3 version. It states you get an MP3 version of this but I was sent the 'Hitchen a Ride' one.

Great sixties band, they had several hits in that era seen them live and this C.D. really does them justice.

60's music at its best.
