Our eyes are the window to the world. Every day, we endlessly view and process information: working 9 to 5 in front of a computer screen, scrolling through our phones, catching up with our favorite show on TV, reading on a tablet, or battling it out on gaming devices. What do all of these digital devices have in common? They all emit blue light, which can be harmful to our eyes over time. What is blue light? Blue light has the strongest frequency of the visible spectrum, right next to UV light. Its short wavelength and high frequency make it highly penetrative, able to reach as far back as the retina in your eyes. This can cause digital eyestrain, headaches, dry eye, fatigue, and even insomnia. Cut the blue light with Trust Optic’s BluGuard Lens Technology Trust Optics worked hard to create their BluGuard lens technology: a proprietary amber lens treatment that reduces high frequency blue light, UV light, and glare emitted from many digital devices. BluGuard decreases eyestrain, reduces headaches, and improves your sleep cycle, which also means increased productivity at the office and more time to relax with your favorite devices. Fashionable and Functional FeatherView Frames The BluGuard lens technology is coupled with our FeatherView frames, which are only made with high quality and lightweight materials. Our glasses do not compromise on comfort or style. FeatherView frames are functional, professional, and available in a wide variety of modern and sleek designs. Safeguard your eyes, alleviate the digital eyestrain, and feel the difference today with Trust Optics Computer Glasses.

Great Glasses, Excellent Quality, Reduced Eye Strain, Work Great! Included Microfiber Cloth Needs Improvement
I have been experiencing eye strain for years, both work and home related, staring at a computer screen too long. I also had issues with sleep when using the computer up to near bedtime, which I was told by my Dr. to stop 2 hours prior to bedtime though it's easier said than done.So I looked around on Amazon for a pair of computer/gaming glasses, originally thought of going with a pair of Gunnar's but the price was more than I wanted to spend and the reviews were mixed. So I found these to be value priced which made me think they were poor quality, but when they arrived, my thoughts changed. The glasses come packed in a nice quality 2 piece box, inside are instructions and info, also to my amazement, the glasses came in a nice semi-rigid case with a zipper + a micro fiber cloth (though I noticed issues with this cloth more on that later). Something you would expect from more expensive glasses and I buy Maui Jims for my Day Sunglasses and the case that came with these is better quality than the Maui Jims I paid nearly $200 for, so the case alone is a nice touch for storage.Frame is made out of Ultem PEI Resin with Carbon Fiber along with Titanium, look it up, it's commonly used on high end frames. They are great quality for the price and have modern styling and are comfortable to wear for hours.Lenses are a light yellow tint, they make everything appear clearer and sharper along with blocking blue light which effects sleep late at night and eye strain during the day at the office. Not the darkest yellow tinted lenses but they work well, I have experienced reduced eye strain at work and home along with PM computer usage. I ended up ordering a 2nd pair after have the first for a couple of weeks.I do game a little, and these helped me gaming along with typical computer usage, so either way you cannot go wrong for the price.Lastly, after using these with the included microfiber cloth, I noticed a film on the lens, just could not get them clean so I used a different microfiber cloth and the issue went away. So I would say the included microfiber cloth needs improvement or the two pair I received have some type of treatment on them that is causing a haze to appear on the lens after using.

Reduces eye strain and exposure to blue light
Blue wavelength light is beneficial during daylight hours because it boosts attention, reaction times, and mood. However, blue wavelength light can be very harmful/disruptive at night. Constant exposure to blue light suppresses the secretion of melatonin, a hormone that influences circadian rhythms (our natural body clock), and there's also some experimental evidence that lower melatonin levels might increase the risk of retinal damage and contribute to age-related macular degeneration, which can lead to loss of vision.Sources of blue light include the sun, digital screens (TVs, computers, laptops, smart phones and tablets), electronic devices, and fluorescent and LED lighting.Blue light waves are the among the shortest, highest energy wavelengths in the visible light spectrum (the light humans can see). Blue light wavelengths flicker more easily than longer, weaker wavelengths. This kind of flickering creates a glare that can reduce visual contrast/sharpness and cause eyestrains, headaches, physical and mental fatigue.Eyestrains can affect learning and work productivity. If we want to take care of our health, it is essential to reduce the exposure to blue light especially at night. One way to do this is sleeping early and avoiding electrical devices which emit blue light. But if this can't be avoided -- there are glasses which filter/block blue light. By blocking blue light --- these glasses can reduce eyestrain. Since I am exposed to blue light late into the night I needed glasses that block blue light.Upon browsing online I found a blue light blocking glasses from Trust Optics. I got this hoping to decrease my exposure to blue light. The packaging included a brochure about blue light and a case for glasses. The case contains a zipper, so the glasses wont come out of the case even if the case falls down. Within the case there is the blue light filter glasses with a cleaning cloth. The glasses frame is dark blue in color and the lens have an orangish brown tint. The arms are plastic and can be bent according to ones preference. Overall the build quality looks good.I wore the glasses to test it. The glasses didnt feel uncomforable as it stayed in its place. I tested the glasses to see it actually blocks blue light (See the last pic). I was content that the glasses blocked blue light. I wore the glasses initially for half an hour and my eyes didnt feel strained. But after taking the glasses off, screen appeared way too bright and hurt my eyes. These glasses helped me decrease the exposure to bright light and also with my body clock and my natural sleep rhythms.Overall, I can say that I am pretty satisfied with the glasses. I would recommend these to people looking to reduce exposure to excess blue light.

but the arms feel like they're cutting in when wearing for extended periods
Lenses work well and frame is very light, but the arms feel like they're cutting in when wearing for extended periods.

Light Weight and Good Looking
I really like these glasses, they are very light weight and seem to block the blue rays quite well. I have a large head and these glasses fit my face very well. I would think that they would be a bit too large for most woman unless large glasses are your fashion statement. I use these glasses at night about one hour before bed and can tell the difference when I am watching TV or working on my computer verses not wearing them.Being a light pair of glasses the frames are not very robust but for my needs they do not have to be. If I was taking these to/from work I would be concerned with damaging but since they remain at my home in the zipper container they came in when not in use I have little concern with them being damaged. With the low price point I thought maybe that the lens might have a small defect or not be clear in all of the spots as I have experienced with other low end computer glasses but the pair I received are quite clear with no signs of distortion that I detect when looking thru them.

Nice case though
I can't see out of them really good. I think I need a .75

For me they are perfect. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars ...
These glasses are light weight, fit my head, which is 5.5 inches across. Be aware that these are largish glasses and may look too wide on most heads. For me they are perfect. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars are the ear pieces are bent in towards the head, not on springs and are not adjustable. That being said they grip my head and do not pinch. I will purchase another pair.
