Seemed like a quality product...
This product was recommended by my son's teacher. When they arrived they felt like a quality product. My son needed slippers for inside his jr. kindergarten classroom. The fit was on the small side, but still fit his foot just not a lot of room for growth. He has been wearing them for approximately two months or less- Sept 6- Nov 12 (has missed a couple weeks of school, only attends partial days- Jr. Kindergarten and of course, doesn't wear them on weekends as he is not at school) At school they are worn indoors only and the ENTIRE BOTTOM of the slipper is peeling off and the rubber material at the heals has crumbled and is still encased inside the fabric/material as a lumpy mass that impedes with the fit of the slipper. YUK. THEY CANNOT BE WORN AND THEY CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED. The teacher was the one to tell me about the poor condition and gave them to me to take home. She said she would not recommend them again to the parents.

Good Slipper but needs a few improvements
We are on our 3rd pair of the same slipper. Good quality; fits well and are very warm;. The only reason I could not give this product 5 stars was because I noticed on every pair I bought that the protective silk-like cover on the inside of the slipper where the brand name is shown, came off easily and became uncomfortable. Once I cut or pulled it off, it was fine, but didn't look very nice. The fabric here, should be a bit more durable. Also, on 2 of the pairs, the rubber sole of the slipper separated from the slipper in the front making it easy for a child to trip and fall. Other than that, the slipper served its purpose nicely and were very warm and cozzy. The velcro band allowed the shoe to be adjusted which was nice if you wanted to order a larger size and make them last longer. Wish they would improve the things I mentioned. If they did, it would make this a 5 star slipper easily.

Soles separate from shoe!
I am so disappointed in these shoes. My daughter just started Montessori preschool less than two months ago and is required to wear slippers in the classroom. I was happy to find these vs. buying from the suggested Montessori specialty store. After 3 weeks, the sole started to come apart from the bottom of the shoe, causing her to stumble and trip. Last week, nearly the entire sole (3/4) had peeled back from the first shoe and the other shoe was starting to separate as well. She's 3 and only wears these indoors for a few hours everyday. Terrible.

Loved the shoes, but the front part of the soles detached after only 4 weeks wear!
I was warned by other reviewers, but hoped ours would be different - no such luck! These shoes have an obvious flaw - too many people experiencing the same problem! The soles on the shoes we received were flapping after about 4 weeks of light wear at her Montessori school for indoor shoes. Since it happened on a Thursday, she wore a 'substitute pair on Friday (thank goodness we had a pair she could use) and my husband got out the trusty E6000 adhesive glue (sold on Amazon of course). I didn't have time to mess with returning them so figured we didn't have much to lose - we needed school shoes! We let them dry all weekend and so far so good! I've been watching them closely, and I think they will last until she needs another pair. Necessary DIY repair is not a great shoe feature, but if you're faced with it I highly recommend the E6000 fix!UPDATE: Well, forget the E6000 fix I hoped for - these shoes even defy that. After only 4 more weeks they were both flapping again! I've had to face it, as much as I wanted to love these shoes - the soles are simply junk! Absolutely will not last....consider yourself warned!

Great for independent dressing
These shoes are great for toddlers learning independence when dressing themselves. The slippers are easy for my son to put on, and the velcro keeps them on securely. The bottom is a rubber type material that gives them a great grip on any floor surface, preventing slipping and sliding. My child finds these very comfortable, and was very upset when he grew out of the pair he previously had! So this is his second pair and we are both very happy with them.

Good, sturdy shoe.
These are great shoes. I had them for my daughter until she was older, and I'm now putting them on my son. He's 2, and one of those toddlers that doesn't sit still. He climbs, he kicks stuff, he crawls, he's very active and rough on his shoes. He also wears these outside, not just as a slipper. These have held up beautifully for the last 3+ months. He'll grow out of them before they wear out. I've always had good luck with this particular brand/shoe. They're warm without being bulky and clunky like a boot. Maybe the navy ones hold up better than the pink, I don't know. The only down side is, as some other raters have said, they do run slightly small. Consider sizing up about a half size if possible. (The photos are after 3 1/2 months of wear and tear.)

Awesome "Indoor" shoe for a 4y/o boy
I purchased these for my 4 year old to use as inside shoes for his Montessori class. He is big for his age and he is "All Boy" which means he's hard on...well everything. He has been using them 5 days a week for 3 months now and I am happy to report they look like they could last the whole year. The bonus is he loves them....and that's coming from a boy who's footwear of choice is a boot for jumping in puddles etc. I will buy him a larger pair for next year. They are a good product and true to size.

Runs large. Also after some time the bottom layer peels off. I am not sure why this happens. This is the 4th foamtread slipper we have ordered and last about 6 months tops. Our children attend a montessori school and lots of other kids have these slippers- same problem.
