4 Amp Battery Charger

Probably one of the better 12VDC chargers on the market for lead acid car batteries. The key is including a "12VDC supply" fixed voltage (low amps) option on the charger. Most chargers have safety features (rightly so) that prevent charging a deeply cycled and drained battery (e.g., <10VDC resting). The only way to get the voltage back up is to used a fixed supply, under careful supervision (charge/rest cycles). The 12VDC supply allows for that, and then you can transition to a maintenance trickle charger, or whatever, to get the battery fully charged. I liked it so much, I bought a second one. Highly recommended!

I bought the 4V unit just over 2 years ago and use it to keep my bike and my lawn tractor topped off in the cold winter months. Works great in keeping my batteries ready to go, haven't had any battery issues so I can't speak to it's other features, but it does what we need most and after 2 years it's still workin. I like that it tells me the voltage my battery is putting out and the level of charge via it's LCD display. Quality of manufacturing and accessories is good, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again or recommend to friends and family.

This is the second one I have purchased. I like the function. I like the connector. Easy to operate. I use it on my motorcycles and it works great on both Lithium and AGM batteries. EDIT When my battery charge is very low (10-11 volts) I have experienced the charger display showing "000" which means something is wrong with the batter. (Shocker when it is your $200 lithium battery.) However, in most cases it is NOT the battery. For some reason the charger just determines the battery doesn't have "enough" charge. MY REMEDY... just attach the target batter to a fully charged battery via jumper cables. When the charger recognizes the "good" battery everything works fine, then I can detach the "donor" battery. I would recommend.

Better than expected. I use it ad a battery tender for a motorcycle and generator. Comes well packaged for storage, and with quality accessories.

Great charger with lots of information on the screen.

It works so well. Attach it to the terminals ( no need to take the cables off ) and by time you get around to the cab you can turn it over. Worked every time (4) and on one charge. I don’t drive as often any more so the truck sits out on the street in the freezing cold for sometimes up to three weeks. Haven’t had to call for a boost all winter. It’s so small, light and easy to use.

This unit is a quality charger and maintenance tool!!! Easy to install and the readout display is crisp clear in daylight and in the dark. Very precise. After three days of constant charge, the motorcycle battery was fully charged and the charger automatically switched over into maintenance mode. The unit was not even warm to the touch. Very happy with this product. Definitely would recommend.

Repaired my Renogy 100ah Smart lipo4. Using a low voltage mode. Once the battery reached 12 volts it came alive. Doesn't work on regular lithium batteries. Very easy to use. Great user manual. Really like the protective cover Nice storage bag. Small and light. Has both clamp and ring terminaled leads.

I've charged up every battery I own with this. Even my car battery that was "fully charged" took quite a bit more charge from this unit. Nice to keep them topped off especially in cold weather. I keep it with my generator to keep it's battery charged so it starts when I really need it.

I really liked it but it was for a gift. Powerful, easy to use.
