Dragon Quest 7 Japan Import

There is currently no way to play this game in the US unless you have a Japanese 3DS (and better if you read Japanese). I won't get into emulation software because it is illegal to play unlicensed games on emulators (wink wink). The PS1 version was good, but flawed with heavy load times and a lot of dithering and scrolling issues. The 3DS, being generally a more powerful system than the PS1, handles a lot of these issues with the upscaling.This is not the best Dragon Quest game - but it is a solid DQ title. (For the record, I think 3 (the Super Famicom version) and 8 (PS2) are my favorites).If you do buy this game, make sure you have the system you need and get ready to do some heavy translating. OR - ahem - download a copy of the script from Dragon Quest 7 for the PS1. It's close enough.Great game and I can't wait until it comes stateside. Also note: about 3rd party sellers - most in the $40 - $60 price with Prime shipping are reasonable. The game is about 5000 yen in Japan plus shipping making it about $50 - $75 when shipping from Japan (which is usually a little slower than Prime...).

this needs to be in north America! if you are a fan of the DQ series, this needs to be in your rpg collection. the only thing I regret is not buying the ps one version!

Decent game. Some things aren't as polished as I would hope but still is a good game!

Luckily both this and Dragon Quest 8 are to us both coming to the US on 3ds at the end of this year so no need to import unless you don't want to wait to play

追悼。亡くなられた鳥山明先生から多少の影響を受けた人間として、また3dsユーザーとして。今は装丁は開けない。プレイしない。3dsと交換用バッテリーパックを複数所持しているので、いつかプレイしようとは思う。

流石ドラクエシリーズですね。何度やっても面白い。私の中で１１Sが出るまでは間違いなくドラクエシリーズの中でNO1だった。
