Will this work just hanging from the edge of a college dorm bunk bed? Or does it have to be leaning against the bunk?

The steps are too narrow and hurt my feet when climbing up and down?

Are the hooks wide enough to hook over the top of an RV bathroom door to store out of the way when not in use?

Will this fit a c class coach? i have a jayco red hawk. over the cab, bunk needs a ladder.
