Really good
Good, expect some weight I wanted to move away from traditional non-stick pans, so I decided to try a carbon steel option. I chose the Yosukata wok, and I’m very pleased with it overall. It’s made of pure carbon steel with no coatings, feels solid, and is beautifully crafted. After proper seasoning, it develops a natural non-stick surface that makes cooking enjoyable, and the food turns out great. Just keep in mind that this wok is quite heavy, and the handle is angled upwards more steeply than on a regular frying pan. At first, this made it a bit awkward to toss food the traditional way. My simple solution: I hold the handle steady and stir ingredients with a wooden spatula - works perfectly fine. With proper care - washing with warm water, drying thoroughly, and lightly oiling before storing - this wok will serve you very well.

Perfect.
Love it, strong and sturdy, and therefore very heavy. Seasoned it as per instructions, with great results, I'm sure the food taste's better, however that could be psychosomatic, as I'm over the mood with my first wok! It ha developed a lovely patina, and looks to last generations. Well recommended.

Disappointing and frustrating
I got this wok for my husband as he has been wanting this type of wok for a while. Always used only non-stick wok. Finally decided to get the wok for him. Regretting it very much now. Reasons: The 1st work sent looked like there was rust on it. Was sent another wok. Which we thought was alright but after seasoning, there looked like burnt marks but that could be normal due to seasoning on high heat. Then tried cleaning with warm water and without soap and then season again. No difference. So then tried cooking on it, food did not taste a lot better. Almost burnt the ingredients and there was a lot of sticking. As I can't use soap and only soft sponge, it was a nightmare to clean! The wok is so heavy and bulky. When kept, the oil becomes sticky and its so difficult to put away due to the handle... I don't like pans on the stove so that really bothered me. I later realised I can't use the wok to steam things either. Either I am really unlucky with the product or this wok takes so much care and specific instructions to up-keep it that it's extra work for me. Absolutelg makes cooking a chore. Have now given up using it to stir fry anything.. total energy and money

Great, but very heavy.
Be aware, this Wok is super heavy. Otherwise, it's fantastic. Make sure you follow the instructions on seasoning.

Happy with this!
First time buying a pre-seasoned wok. I wasn't pleased about needing to buy a new one but changing from a gas hob to induction meant I needed a flat-bottomed wok. I carefully followed the instructions before using, and have dried it thoroughly & oiled after use, and after only 4 uses it's already as good to use as my old one was which had had much use over a number of years. Was it absolutely perfectly non-stick the first few times? Not necessarily (depending on what you cook in it) but any food bits will come off. Providing you don't go at it like a hammer & tongs, you can use the scouring side of a washing-up sponge if needed but make sure to dry well & re-season. I'm confident that full non-stick-ness will be achieved with a few more uses. Is the surface still an even dark-blue colour? No, but that doesn't affect the way it functions., and I didn't expect it to be. I'm happy with it and would recommend it.

I've had a cheap wok before and it was ok, did the job, but this one is sturdy and and you can tell by cooking with it a few times how great it is with non stick by FOLLOWING the instructions. It's got a really nice colour to the pan after using it a few times. Well happy I am !!!!!! 😀

As a new wok user I wasn’t sure what I was getting into buying a wok, well good news is I’m glad I did 😄. I’m having fun learning how to master my new YOSUKATA wok and I found the pre seasoned finish made for an easier full seasoning which I buggered up first time but got it right second time around ,wasn’t really that hard. From a blokes point of view I like the weight and the large wooden handle but I wouldn’t let the little 45kg better half loose with it. The large wooden handle and the helper handle on the other side make it safe to use and the heavy gauge carbon steel construction gives a nice heat range from the flat bottom and up the sides. Overall a very solid quality work horse I believe will last for many years, recommended.

The pot is lighter than normal iron cast and easy to handle. The seasoning process was easy and so far the pot is in great condition after 2 weeks

lo que mas quiero resaltar es la buena calidad del producto, si es costoso pero si se siente que uno recibe lo que paga por el articulo, yo compre el de 13.5 pulgadas, es algo pesado, no es facil manejarla con una mano. yo soy nuevo con los sartenes de acero de carbono, y algo que si se debe considerar es que tu estufa tenga una flama adecuada para poder usarlo, ya que yo no cuento con una flama grande y es un poco dificil calentarlo para hacer la comida a altas temperaturas, aunque me a funcionado muy bien, cuando la cure, dure mucho por lo mismo que no tengo una flama grande y dure mucho, aun le falta pero ya he cocinado como 5 veces con ella y no se le pega nada, al limpiarla es muy facil y es muy bonito como objeto tambien, lo recomiendo totalmente este articulo
