Just as described, other reviewers are correct. There is a small wobble, can be corrected with a wedge of some sort.

I bought this for my helmet so I can mount my action camera to the NVG mount point. It wouldn't snap in place with the padding. I would snap in without the padding, but the bottom tab is not long enough for it to provide a secure fit. Back to the drawing board.

This might fit a airsoft knockoff shroud made from the same chinesium, but it does not fit actual shrouds. I have put them in Wilcox, Galvion, and Ops Core shrouds. It doesn't fit them correctly. Both the height and width are off, leaving a loose fit sufficient to cause rattling under movement. I have had to put a small patch of adhesive backed, thin foam on the back to keep it snugly in place in the mount.

I just received this product and true to Chinese aka Amazon product this one does not fit my real MICH bump helmet. It's not the same dimension as my NV mount and the mount rattles a lot. I am going to have to put something behind the mount, so that there isn't that extra play. I didn't expect much from a Chinese made product, but my other picatinny action camera mount I ordered in this same order is fantastic compared to this POS.ETA: The included sponge adhesive is garbage as it's too thick. I used the crappy instructions and cut some pieces to fill the gap. There is no more wiggle in the mount, once I did this, but one can tell it's Chinese sloppy parts.

This product fit in the Loogu FAST Helmet I used for airsoft (available on this website, but be aware the NVG mount is part of the plastic instead of being interchangeable) and without the included pads does rattle very slightly. Included padding (I did not even peel the adhesive off, I just stuffed it in there and put the mount on) fixes the rattle completely as was intended. This is a common.Mount is made of metal and parts fit together out of the box without frustration or effort. Packaging was good and each item was included as promised, some were even bagged in their own little baggies. Very good. Includes cross pin screw for GoPro and the little wrench for really making sure things are over-tightened.Intended use case is to carry GoPro during airsoft games. If problems are experienced during use this review will be updated. Should it not ever be updated you can assume the product is still kicking.
