Great protection while running
Running barefoot for 3yrs. Up until now, when the weather got too cold I use my Merrell Vapors 2. Not any more, these socks are brilliant. They are a mid point between barefoot shoe and barefoot. I've only done 20 miles so far, over rural roads with lots of winter debris on the ground that would have cut my foot for certain and they held up really well. You can feel everything, feedback is really good, but I do not think they are completely puncture proof. If these things fall apart - which I doubt they will - I'll be back to let people know how many miles it took to break them. I'm a barefoot size 42 and the Medium is slightly pinching my right foot. Update- My initial impressions seem to be holding up. I've clocked up more than 500 miles in these, always over rural country roads and parks paths in all seasons. They are beginning to show some signs of wear on the ball of my foot (the fuzzy grip is now flat in this section) but I'm still very confident running in them. I've hit some pretty bad trails and section of new surface road (loose chips kind) and I'm always impressed by the abuse these sock are taking. Maybe it's my light build or running style, maybe it's because I rarely do more than 15 miles in one go with these, but the only problem I've encountered is the horrendous stink from running in them without socks. I rarely use my other barefoot shoes now, unless I know I'll be running over exceptionally poor ground for a couple of miles.

Perhaps a novelty?
They are a touch on the large side but are suitable. I’ve only used them a couple of times in good weather for short walks and for pottering around in the garden. I love being bare foot and would happily potter outside as such, but gravel and debris usually make this hazardous. These make it much easier. You will still feel sharp objects, but they haven’t penetrated the shoes. Feet do get a little sweaty. Can’t imagine using them in winter or if I were to be on my feet all day. If you aren’t used to being bare foot, do WEAR THEM IN GENTLY- take your time getting used to them, as they do make you use muscles/tendons (a physo will know better!) you weren’t aware of.

Great for the beach and pool
I love these socks, I had them for holidays for the beach but I wore them all holidays even walking around the old towns, very comfortable and great product for the money !!!

The originals are better looking and perfect
I did not by the 2.0, but the originals. (the second generation is so ugly I wold not wear them). Best shoes ever. So comfortable. In winter, I use a felt sole and they are warm enough. Only when its raining or when its really warm, they are no good. The feet are boiling in the heat and get unpleasantly smelly.

Worn through in 4 months
These are my second pair. They are comfortable, easy to use, light, and easy to wash. I bought this pair a month after my first pair, but they are now both wearing through and letting in water, after just 4 or 5 calendar months of use. I wish they were built more durable, as they are not cheap enough to be this flimsy

The best of their kind, just what I wanted.
Love these, I wanted something that was a bit more flexible and thinner than a barefoot shoe that would enable me to feel the ground more. These are as close as it gets to the barefoot feel whilst still wearing some kind of ground protection. I’ve worn them in the woods, on the beach, for camping etc… the sole is very tough and will stand endless abrasion. However it isn’t puncture proof so be mindful in certain environments, I wore them gardening and stepped on a hawthorn branch which went straight into my heel, no lasting damage but a little painful to walk on for 2 days. Also they are not waterproof at all not even the rubber sole, so in wet weather just wear waterproof socks with them and you’re all good. Sizing: my feet are a male size 8(uk) 42. I measure 26.5cm in length and 10cm at the widest part of the forefoot. These feel like a nice fit and give my toes enough room to splay but I find there is a little bit too much length after the toes so on ‘grippy’ surfaces this extra material can sometimes catch on the ground, I have got used to them but would have liked to try a size 7 to see if I could get a closer fit, but I suspect the 7 might be too tight in width. Anyway keeping the insoles in and having non slippy socks on can help take up the extra volume. Overall hasn’t spoiled my use and enjoyment, I love them! Everyone should have a pair of skinners.

Little bit big
Not quite what I expected , not really for hiking . But very good for the gym , yoga and in the garden. I use them quite a lot . so I’m happy with that

Great shoes
My FiveFingers have been ditched ever since I bought these. Very comfy for running if you are used to barefoot / ultra minimalist shoes, in fact they are probably the most barefoot feeling shoes I've owned. I was sceptical about the longevity of the sole however 50km later the bobbly bits have flattened down and the sole material seems strong and hard wearing. They even give good grip running in mud.

Muy buenos. Los uso para estar en casa y para salir esporádicamente a la calle, me ha sorprendido lo cómodos que son aunque dan un poco de calor. La talla perfecto
