Not for small dogs
I got two of these, one for each of my small dogs to go with the 3-piece basic set I got for each of them. The pockets are too deep and treats slide all the way to the back seam.I mostly use it without the mat. I put a flattened cardboard tube with the ends closed off into one or two of the pockets and fold the purse over as best I can.Best with large treats for large dogs with long snouts.

My cocker spaniel needs a challenge, these activities provide it. For him it's a little bit of brain work but a lot of action and manipulation to remove tiny treats.

My dogs love this toy. The pocket openings are fairly large so a dog with a larger muzzles could use this.
